Even though this is handy, please call before you make a trip out there. I spent this morning going to 2 Targets that said they were in stock, only to be staring at a handful of empty pegs. I didn't even see a spot on the shelves where they were supposed to be displayed, either.

I didn't even see a spot on the shelves where they were supposed to be displayed, either. That happened to me today. I showed up at a Target that showed them as IN STOCK, but there was nothing on the shelves, and when I asked employees they were very nice and looked all over the stockroom and they couldn't find anything. We couldn't figure out what happened but they said they would manually reset the in stock number to zero.

I woke up this morning at 7:45 and headed to my Target like 5 mins from my house that said IN STOCK for the 6 in black figures and sure enough I get down the isle and there were 4 boxes sitting on the shelf, 1 Luke, 1 R2D2, 1 Sandtrooper and ONE DARTH MAUL!! So happy I found it, bought him, came home and went right back to bed! hah

I got Luke Skywalker and the Sandtrooper today from Target. Whelp, there goes my money. I love these figures. I was hoping I'd hate them just because they are SOOOOOO expensive, but they are awesome and they are the Star Wars figures I've always wanted.
I'm actually kinda pissed. Way too many things I need to collect. I collect WWE Mattel figures, I got into the Batman 60's toy line, I've got these 6" Star Wars figures now, eventually the Marvel Select Wolverine is coming out.....my poor poor money, lol.
But like I said, the figures are awesome, and I can't wait for more characters. So much detail on these figures. If I had ONE complaint about the figures at all, I guess it would be the joints? They kind of just made the 3.75 inch figures in 6 inch scale and didn't really make any advancements or improvements in the joints, especially the shoulder joint. But I guess they did that for the collector, as many feel that the more joints hurts the look of the figure and makes it look less and less life life.

I went back today and got Darth Maul and R2-D2....I'm a weak man with no self control. My gf is going to kill me, lol. $80 in 2 days, plus I bought Elite 22 last week, plus the Batman and Robin 2-pack....
It's a good thing I just got a new job that pays more, lol.

I thought my girlfriend was going to kill me too when I told her I bought the Star Wars figures, I guess it smoothed the issue over when I told her I bought them as a birthday gift to myself, guess she couldn't yell at me ON my birthday, so I got away with it, but that 60's Batman line is going to be a hard one to get past her lol

It's funny that he's the least value for the price (being so small and not really including much or being an exciting action packed figure) but the peg-warmer is going to be Luke, hero of the old films. R2 has been tough. I might have to resort to my local comic shop for him and I shudder to think what their price is going to have to be since Diamond isn't offering these for cheap.

She was like "wait, you're buying Star Wars? I thought you were getting some more stupid wrestlers! Don't you already have all of these guys and now you're just buying them again because they're bigger?!?!?!" I kinda didn't know how to respond because she was totally right....I have tons of the 3.75 inch vintage line figures, and now I'm buying the 6" ones just because they are bigger, lol. At least wave 2 isn't due until December I think, right? Gives me some time to focus only on WWE, but I do need to get Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman from the Batman 60's line.

R2-D2 is alright. It's neat, but in no way worth $19.99+tax. They should have made it have sound and light. If they can make the little 3.75 inch R2-D2 have light and sound for $9.99, there really isn't a reason why this one doesn't have that feature. I think based on the small size of the figure, there needed to be a little something extra of a feature to justify the high price point. I'm glad I have it, as R2-D2 is a critical character in Star Wars, but I just feel like it needed something extra to make me feel like I was getting my money's worth.

I'm probably going to return my second R2. The first one had a middle leg that wouldn't raise and lower. My second R2, which I found yesterday, is shown in the pics. The slot spacing is off, causing a gap and forcing the leg to bend inward. Maybe if I widen the notch it will be okay but for $20, I don't think I should have to make fixes.

Found the 6" Sandtrooper at Target. I wanted to see them in person before deciding. But these are awesome.

They look nice but I'll stick with the small figs. Heck I'm probably buying nothing new until 2015. Then I may just go crazy with all of the new stuff.

I swore off Hasbro a few years ago over frustration from the McQuarrie SW figures, and GI 25th Anniv distribution issues. But I've picked up 2 Sandtroopers, and they are awesome. I'll skip most prequel stuff, and variants, but I'm going to be mostly all-in with these.
