Hey guys I have been a long time collector of Star Wars Figures I started with the Power of the force line when I was a kid and collected most of the Revenge of the Sith figures but got out after that but still kept them. I went to the Salt Lake Comic Con today and met David Prowse, Ray Park and Peter Mayhew and it finally drew me back in to wanting to collect the other figures that I grew up on. So my question is what does everyone think of the current product? I see a lot of the Black Series in 3 3/4 inch and 6 inch the 6 inch ones look amazing to me. I also see what looks like old carded figures from the 80's and ones that have 3d glasses with them. Any help would be great thanks! I moved your thread to the official Star Wars thread. And the 6" Black line looks like it's going to be a great line to start up with Thanks PJ sorry I wasn't sure if that would be the place to post. Do you happen to have the sdcc boba fett?

No, but I have the series 2 regular release preordered with spamS. $25 is much more my speed over $150+ for the SDCC. I don't need the carbonite Han that much. lol I think they do have the SDCC one though.

Oh yeah for sure I want one but it's a little out of my range as well. Have you seen pictures of it outside of the basic ones? I was curious if Han solo was removeable from the carbonite.

No but I am pretty sure it's just a carbonite block. No Han figure

Bummer I like the series 2 Han but thought it would be cool to have another one similar to the old POTF set.

I'm at a bit of a cross roads, I'm looking at the 3.75 Black Series and I'm thinking to myself the quality of these card backs, the figures, and everything that goes into them is something special. This may be the definitive collection and most remembered of my generation. Now I don't want everybody in the sets, I'm really just a Anakin and Darth Vader collector. But what do you guys think? Do you think I should at least try to obtain all of series one? Or am I over thinking this?

If you only collect those two then just get them. They are both in series 1.

Has anyone here bought the 31inch Darth Vader? I went to walmart last night to get one and they were all sold out. Is it worth it?

I certainly want it for my collection, I think it's worth it for anyone looking for a display piece. I'm going to get the Black Series Darth Vader next time I go out, I already have Anakin. I've only found Padme' once and when I see her again I'm picking her up to. They are the only ones I really want. I might get Luke Skywalker but I don't know wither I want that version of him yet.

I don't really collect this line. But I was wondering if Hasbro will ever release a Tey How figure from The Phantom Menace. I'm primarily interested in one because of the RedLetterMedia review of the Phantom Menace when Plinkett says What is Wrong with your Face? referring to Tey How

He has not been released, and I don't think there is any plans for one.

I heard about the problem Hasbro was having with the bubbles, carding and glue but this is the first time I've run into it. The bubble fell cleanly off the card while in my shopping bag!

For the people who ordered the 6 inch Black series from spamS- How are they with shipping? Did your figures come damaged? Do they use UPS, USPS or Fed-Ex? Any problems with them?

UPS Ground is my choice from spamS. Their USPS Priority seems a little high priced. Before committing to buy, their cart system lists all shipping prices and options. You can back out at anytime before hitting the send payment button. IMO, spamS has the most flexible checkout system of any store. I ordered a set of series 1. They were still in the Hasbro shipping box and that box was placed in a spamS shipping box with bubble wrap. They were mint. I'm also ordering series 2 from them.

I didn't order series 1 from spamS, but everything I do order from them is always packed very nicely and I always choose UPS ground.

Still haven't got anyone since Maul. I want to grab the whole line, but can't afford to spring on them just yet. Wave two looks great, I'll be grabbing Han Solo without a second's hesitation.
