I just wish Mattel could nail his skintone. He should have a lighter complexion. Steve said IP requested the skintone he's given, so who knows why... |

Are these regrets because they've gained so much value? Or because you'd think they'd go on sale and missed out? Legitimate question. I meant like - which figure did you pass up on a shelf that you grab now if you saw it on the shelf’s again (not really value, just wish you had in gen I guess) |

i mentioned it i that thread about the legends road warriors...but a lot of those early figures that kmart had plenty of back in the day. so road warriors, demolition, more defining moments macho man, defining moments bret. also the elite legion of doom. the walmart sting/macho/luger 3 pack. i'm sure there's more but i can't seem to think of them at the moment. i'm not a completionist at all, so i just cherry pick what i want which has made it easy to just grab what i want when i see it. but there's definitely been times that i said "ehh, not today" and then never saw it again Are these regrets because they've gained so much value? Or because you'd think they'd go on sale and missed out? Legitimate question. for me personally, there were just a lot of the earlier figures i would've liked to have in my collection now, but spending money on figures wasn't a high priority at that point in my life. but that being said, there were also some that i could've bought and been fine parting with once the aftermarket prices skyrocketed. nothing i would've bought with the intention of selling later on, but would have gladly sold off to fund some concert tickets or something |

On the shelf the Network Spotlight HHH I saw it for months at a Toys R Us and never picked up and that’s about it.
Never saw on a shelf was the Gorilla Monsoon elite. I passed on Ebay for $40 and I totally regret it.

Not retail but there was a loose Legends Arn Anderson at the flea market for $7. This was during my "poor" & post-divorce "break" from collecting and I passed. but every time I go there now I remember what an idiot I was for not grabbing that.
I passed on the recent Elite Sensational Sherri and now I'm thinking I maybe want it to go with the new Legends HBK.... of course they are completely gone now.
But retail in 2023 has become so scarce, I learned long ago if you see it - and you think you want it - buy it.... because you probably won't see it again!

Idk how much I regret it but I passed the goon like 12 times. Back when I thought I’d only collect like my top five guys and had no idea what my display would look like. He’d of gone nice on the new gen shelf

Not so much retail, but i do regret never getting the Elite 11 CM Punk, Elite 14 King Booker, Elite 8 Edge, BoPPV MITB CM Punk, and the All Stars Punk/Austin 2 pack, back when they came out and were reasonably priced online.
Same with some more recent ones like the Legend's 11 Scott Hall, both versions of the Legend's 14 Edge.

I really regret passing on the first UE Warrior. I saw that a couple of times and was like 'meh'. My biggest regret of all is selling Hawk and Animal elites on eBay years ago before value took off. I really had no idea and figured more would be made. Still hurts.

It was the first time I’ve seen any UE’s in an actual WalMart store. So maybe check your area WalMarts. |

Right now it’s UE Roman for me lol yea i shoulda posted an update on here too i went lookin to see if some new elites dropped and found this yesterday i hadnt seen it on shelves in a like a month or so so i figured i missed the boat anyway i love it, its such an awesome figure  |

I tried a handful of times for the SDCC Macho and just gave up, wish I had kept trying for that one.
I somewhat wish I picked up the first UE Ultimate Warrior, but I thought at the time it wasn't that much better than a regular elite for $10 more.

RSC Exclusive Macho King when a site called Wrestling World had them for £12.99 on sale each back in 2012. I'm not talking 100 to keep and sell now, I just wish I'd grabbed one as I wouldn't mind having one on display with my Classic Superstars now but they're pretty pricey now MOC.
