That’s a good idea, glad you said that because I would have never even thought about it. And, I shouldn’t have to buy 2 of them.
Moan, moan, moan.

Was there not already a chap on here before that figured out the RAW and WCW stages that Mattel showed in the past, shared a lot of similar pieces. I'd be willing to bet money that it's gonna be a WCW stage and the first unlockable tier will be the couple of extra parts needed to 2-in-1 it into a RAW stage.

Well it’s funny cause I brought this up in the Q&A for Steve all the way back in July of 2022 when I noticed both stages shared such a similar amount of structure pieces. Especially the main base, but unfortunately Steve wasn’t able to answer my question. My main question to him was if they ever considered doing a “Monday Night War” crowdfunding idea offering both entrances…Hopefully they do! It would be so awesome to have both those stages to display our figures I think it would be a little bit on the higher price side but well worth it in the end

Is it me or has this toyline become catered to wealthy YouTubers who review the product? Which YouTubers that review wrestling figures are “wealthy”? Comfortable to buy the figures they want? Sure. Wealthy…not so much. YouTube isn’t a get rich quick but it might pay better than some jobs for some people and others not so much.

I expect $500 price tag for a dual stage

I expect $500 price tag for a dual stage Well thank you, you are absolutely right it is crazy how obvious it is and if Steve, Bill, and Mattel did in fact pull off a dual stage for the crowdfund it’s genius. From a business perspective it would bring in both diehard Nitro and Raw fans automatically. A $500 price tag would be a good price as well for the scale and detail on these things. Throw in a fig like NWO Bischoff, Jeans DDP, or Outsiders Nash to represent Nitro and a Mankind, Vince, or Clothed Stone Cold representing Raw and it’s hitting 5K easily. Make second and third tiers worthwhile enough this thing hits 10k backers. In my opinion the Monday Night Wars era was so iconic and influential in wrestling that both entrance stages in those time periods need and deserve to be made. I’m a fan of displaying my figures and both those stages are absolutely perfect for that and recreating iconic memorable moments in wrestling history.

I think they’d do 2 separate stages Just based on past experience they don’t do many / any 2-in-1s. They did a new gen ring then not long after an attitude era ring They did the reals scale raw ring with Goldberg then did the smack down one after with jinder Beck when they did the fabric ring skirts etc there was a real scale raw which come with ‘bonus’ smackdown ring skirt but nXt was a whole separate ring They did the retro blue cage playset snd wcw with dusty close to each other From a business perspective why package 2 in 1 when you can sell separately and get more for it. Similar to what we saw with the new gen/attitude ring imo if this is a stage then it’ll only be one, but if successful we’ll see the same stage repurposed with very little cost (just a bit of signage changed and a few stickers etc) but high return as the other brand. 2 stages also make more sense imo figure wise - otherwise they’d have 3 figures to find between brands. If they do as 2 separate they could do 3 figures as part of the crowdfund then 1 or 2 as part of the online retail stage (again similar to what we saw with the rings) and the rrp for the retail version would be helped since the tooling etc is already done

It made me laugh when people were saying the crowdfund was gonna be the barbershop play set or even the funeral parlor 🤣 good thing old heads don’t run Mattel They're better than a MIZ TV set or legit Firefly Funhouse set.

Guys ... isn't it obvious? Steve said, and I quote: "We can promise it will be truly explosive."Nitro? TNT?
WORKING PYROS CONFIRMED.

All kidding aside ... he did put "truly" in italics. :eyeballslooking:

They're better than a MIZ TV set or legit Firefly Funhouse set. those suck too In terms of a crowdfund for wrestling if your not going to do interview sets your limited. People don’t want another ring, if we get a stage then we already have this stage, the raw letters, the new gen light up…how many stages or entrances do we need? You can’t have a giant build like for xmen, you don’t have vehicles / ships like in star wars (the vehicles you do see in wrestling have been done already at retail), you don’t need a giant castle like he man - the scope is very narrow. At most you may get a backstage / locker room area but then your done unless you repeat more rings and more entrances and how many do you need of the same thing

I find the 2-in-1 concept highly unlikely. Anything is possible though.

I’m thinking more that since it’s a crowdfund and Steve mentioned it will be more expensive then the New Gen arena that it’s possible a 2-1 would bring in WAY more supporters then just the 8k they got on the first crowdfund. I know that at least on this forum, there are many who just want the Nitro stage and many who just want the RAW stage. Mattel obviously reads all the forums so they might try to maximize backers by offering both in a huge crowdfund. Personally, I thought we got alot of bang for our buck with the New Gen, $250 wasn’t bad at all. $500 for a dual RAW/Nitro I think is a fair price. Businesses strive for growth so Mattel I’m sure is going to shoot higher for this crowdfund as compared to the first one. 7k to 12k backers might be the new goal. That early bird special from last time had to be thrown in because backers were low initially so I doubt Mattel would want to take that risk again. Offering 1 entrance stage might be risky cause not all fans are die hard Nitro and not all fans are die hard RAW. I love both of em and both those entrances are sweet so I’m on board regardless.
