So if you didn't back it you're not a true wrestling collector? And I'll tell you what's pathetic - the figure offerings, charging $400 for a bit of plastic truss and some LED lights, charging International customers $200 more on top. It shouldn't be a regret of ours, it should be a regret of Mattel's. 100% telling you and whoever didn’t back the stage you ain’t a true wrestling collector. Nah people bitched and moaned about more figs more ultimates please and Mattel gave us 5 potential ultimates with this crowdfund. And even added a second to the base cause everyone was complaining. Yeah all the LEDs, plastics, lights whatever costs money to produce this is a business they need to make a profit so I don’t see the problem with that at all. Thousands of fans who saw this stage years ago were all over it and when it came time to put your money where your mouth is they didn’t. That’s pathetic to me 100% I’ve stated many times on the thread that I feel for my international brothers and offered MANY times to back a few more for the TRUE fans that really wanted it and got no response. It will be a regret for us not Mattel they make millions off the WWE line they didn’t have to offer us the stage they offered it to us cause we said we wanted it… 100% telling you that you're too much of a wrestling fan. I didn't didn't give Mattel my money for the crowdfund so I'm not a real wrestling fan. The definitation of a hyperbole. I don't think anyone should regret anything. Mattel doesn't have to make it and we can't buy it. I don't loose sleep over show figures that could have been ours like Zombie Hogan or Legends Sting, so don't loose sleep over Mattel's failed attempt at crowdfunding. This is coming from someone with just the right amount of wrestling fandom and from someone concerned about your perception of reality. |

ROFL ..talk about being in the "minority" holy hell.. To each their own I guess. I'm a Hogan collector and only a Hogan collector. Dont have the space or funding to buy all figures I want, so I decided awhile ago that Hulkster was it for me. Do this in the meantime. Until the official one gets released one day.  |

No. it’s $400 back in my pocket and don’t have to worry about rearranging my entire collection to accommodate it. I’m sure we’ll get a WCW Hulkster elite so no big loss there. Steiner will likely get the Jeff Hardy treatment since he’s a very toyetic character and his deal can end at any time. Only heartbreaker is Warrior cuz I don’t think we will ever see that figure. It’s the one figure in the set that probably could only be executed as UE. Hopefully we get the black jeans 2nd appearance Warrior UE in the MNW line. |

I guess it’s possible but seems like to get a cloth duster with that much detail it’ll have to be in the UE line. |

I can’t believe some are so distraught over it not getting backed. I backed it and when I did I just said “if it gets funded cool” and “if not then oh well I have plenty of other things I could spend $400 on”. It’s just a toy and after the blip year I definitely value life experiences over something that will sit on a shelf and maybe do some figure photography with every once and awhile. |

they'll release that Steiner as a elite, no way that goes in the vault.
DDP was not a necessary UE, Rey will probably get a new attire (I would put the Havoc 97), the Warrior and Hogan we don't need for another lifetime.

Does anybody else’s order in their Mattel Creations account still show as an active order with an “Authorized” payment? I figured they would have cancelled them all by now, right?
The “failed to reach goal” text is gone as well, at least on mobile

Nah, it's $400 I didn't really need to spend.... and I wasn't entirely sure how I was going to display it anyway. Plus, I sort of figured like 3 weeks ago that it probably wasn't going to get funded.... It would have been real nice to have - but I've moved on. I'm legit a bit surprised/disturbed that some people are still going on and on about this and hounding Steve - still suggesting solutions - asking for an extension - scolding Steve for not marketing it better, STILL reminding us about the International prices - - - guys, the fans spoke with their wallets - they didn't want it. Mattel is moving on - the Nitro stage, and those figures will be buried, at least for a couple years. Accept it. I'm also legit surprised that there are admitted Non-backers STILL going on and on about this.... what is your obsession with this item that you didn't want? |

I guess it’s possible but seems like to get a cloth duster with that much detail it’ll have to be in the UE line. The duster doesn't seem that detailed though(?). I think if they can do the Legends 8 Warrior duster as a standard Elite figure, then they could probably do this one too. |

Yeah I backed it partially to help those that wanted it to get it, but mostly because I wanted the Ultimates. Plenty had reasons to not back it and all of those are valid. It’s up to each individual person how they spend their money and they shouldn’t have to spend the money just for someone else to get what they want. Sucks it’s not getting made, but doesn’t mean those that didn’t back it aren’t “true wrestling fans.” Except fans of Lex Luger. They clearly hate wrestling. No I feel you I was more meaning the individuals who when they first showed this stage years ago were all over it and gave positive feedback and Mattel the perception that this is what fans wanted. If a wrestling figure collector just doesn’t like WCW I understand that or if they don’t have enough money I get that. I’m more talking bout the members of this forum and other forums, and social media just constantly every chance they got bashed this from day 1. Literally some of them were the same people who applauded the diorama shown off years ago. Every thing from stage was too big to Steiners singlet was too plain it just got exhausting. Really killed the mood I mean anyone coming to look for information on this forum just saw people CONSTANTLY complaining. It just sucks we had a good chance and honestly I know we ain’t getting another chance at any stage why would they want to even attempt with all the complaining? |
