IDK. DMs are just normal elites now in a smaller DM box. They’re priced the same as regular elites now. I guess it’s possible but seems like to get a cloth duster with that much detail it’ll have to be in the UE line. The duster doesn't seem that detailed though(?). I think if they can do the Legends 8 Warrior duster as a standard Elite figure, then they could probably do this one too. Yeah but L8 was a suited figure and the head didn’t have any face paint so that freed up the budget for the cloth duster. Again, not impossible that it’ll show up in an elite lineup somewhere, but I am not counting on it. I think they’ll just end up giving us another WCW Warrior as an UE. And honestly would love his 2nd appearance. It’s one of his best face paint designs.

You’re a true wrestling collector brother I respect that. I backed 5 stages to keep 3 and sell 2 for people who missed out. It’s pathetic we couldn’t get 5k behind this project people will make any excuse they can but reality is this one will be a regret of our community for years to come. Mattel did an amazing job with this stage unfortunately the audience they have isn’t. ...no it won't be. The reality is less than 3250 people backed this (there were 3 x 250 orders). A lot of people didn't/don't care and certainly won't be crying/regretting it for years to come. 100% telling you and whoever didn’t back the stage you ain’t a true wrestling collector. Nah people bitched and moaned about more figs more ultimates please and Mattel gave us 5 potential ultimates with this crowdfund. And even added a second to the base cause everyone was complaining. Yeah all the LEDs, plastics, lights whatever costs money to produce this is a business they need to make a profit so I don’t see the problem with that at all. Thousands of fans who saw this stage years ago were all over it and when it came time to put your money where your mouth is they didn’t. That’s pathetic to me 100% I’ve stated many times on the thread that I feel for my international brothers and offered MANY times to back a few more for the TRUE fans that really wanted it and got no response. It will be a regret for us not Mattel they make millions off the WWE line they didn’t have to offer us the stage they offered it to us cause we said we wanted it… 🤣🤣🤣 I don’t know man I say regret cause there’s no way Mattel offers us another crowdfund of this magnitude. People want the RAW Stage and Smackdown fist but with this failure doesn’t that seem highly unlikely now given the complaints about stage size, cost, exc.? That’s regrettable in my book if we don’t get another opportunity at a crowdfund is what I mean. Haha yeah I probably should of explained that part better lol Meant the people who when this thing was first shown was all over it then when it’s time to back and support it they make these reasons that at times seemed way overblown and constantly was repeated by the same people over and over again. People who just don’t like WCW or don’t have the money I understand that.

No man what I had meant and didn’t specify was it was to the individuals who when this stage was first shown off were all over it and asked Mattel to offer it and then when it came down to it made up every excuse they could to not back it. Not only that, they constantly throughout the entire campaign bashed every decision Mattel made and constantly bitched about every little thing they could. It got to a point where every post was negative and really killed the vibe of the whole thing. Wrestling figure collectors who just don’t collect or like WCW or just didn’t have the cash I understand that I should have stated that.

Didn’t mention international cause that’s basically an obvious hindrance being charged more than $200 for same item we gettin in the states

I didn't didn't give Mattel my money for the crowdfund so I'm not a real wrestling fan. The definitation of a hyperbole. I don't think anyone should regret anything. Mattel doesn't have to make it and we can't buy it. I don't loose sleep over show figures that could have been ours like Zombie Hogan or Legends Sting, so don't loose sleep over Mattel's failed attempt at crowdfunding. This is coming from someone with just the right amount of wrestling fandom and from someone concerned about your perception of reality. Too much of a wrestling figure collector definitely haha I think we’ll regret that it failed cause I have real doubt that more crowdfunds will be offered to us of this magnitude unfortunately. I don’t lose sleep over it either brother just disappointed the community didn’t rally behind it. Hahaha reality is we had nearly 4k TRUE wrestling collectors back this masterpiece but it wasn’t enough.

Yeah, don’t agree with this at all. Yeah I backed it partially to help those that wanted it to get it, but mostly because I wanted the Ultimates. Plenty had reasons to not back it and all of those are valid. It’s up to each individual person how they spend their money and they shouldn’t have to spend the money just for someone else to get what they want. Sucks it’s not getting made, but doesn’t mean those that didn’t back it aren’t “true wrestling fans.” Except fans of Lex Luger. They clearly hate wrestling. No I feel you I was more meaning the individuals who when they first showed this stage years ago were all over it and gave positive feedback and Mattel the perception that this is what fans wanted. The key part in that sentence is "YEARS AGO'. The world has changed significantly since then, especially economically. We are staring down the barrel of a recession while the cost of living skyrockets uncontrollably and inflation is out of hand. if the crowdfund had happened years ago it probably would have gotten funded, but this was a piss poor time to do it, years after hype had died down and right in the middle of historic economic issues.

Am I the only one that backed it thats not completely unhinged & distraught that it didnt pass through? I mean...its a toy. A really cool toy Id love to have....but Jesus some of you need to seek professional help. Nah, it's $400 I didn't really need to spend.... and I wasn't entirely sure how I was going to display it anyway. Plus, I sort of figured like 3 weeks ago that it probably wasn't going to get funded.... It would have been real nice to have - but I've moved on. I'm legit a bit surprised/disturbed that some people are still going on and on about this and hounding Steve - still suggesting solutions - asking for an extension - scolding Steve for not marketing it better, STILL reminding us about the International prices - - - guys, the fans spoke with their wallets - they didn't want it. Mattel is moving on - the Nitro stage, and those figures will be buried, at least for a couple years. Accept it. I'm also legit surprised that there are admitted Non-backers STILL going on and on about this.... what is your obsession with this item that you didn't want? What else am I going to do... talk to the Mrs? Play with the kids? 🤭 Seriously though, although I didn't actually want the stage itself, I still find stuff like this really interesting... the different figures offered, the marketing, the changes, seeing how well or poorly it would do etc. And I like seeing all the different opinions/views/ideas of other people interested in the campaign too... whether they backed it or not. And I'm not gonna lie, I was kind of hoping if enough noise was made, then something might have been done about the international issue... I'd have probably ended up backing it then, hoping we got Rey, Steiner and at least DDP... (Warrior really grew on me too).

And you know how much I wanted this, but I moved on as soon as I woke up the following morning and saw it did reach the 5000. Does it suck? Yup totally, but there’s nothing else to do about it.

I was just cringing at some of the behavior of our members here. Big difference between someone who could have been swayed to buy (which is sounds like you were) and engaged in the discussion constructively (which you did)..... vs. others who stated they had no intent to purchase this item & made the whole thing out to be a joke - yet posted 100+ times about an item they weren't ever going to buy. Or yet others who posted to Steve - the posts were (and some are still coming) - downright insulting. Demanding. Entitled. Cringe-worthy. Just strange behavior and I'm glad the whole thing is over. But I never did and won't shed a tear or lose any sleep over this.... woulda been cool to have, though.

It's wrestling figures. If anyone is taking it personally, that's a them problem.

Does anybody else think that maybe, just maybe, because we haven't got official word from Steve or anyone at Mattel, that this thing MAY NOT be dead in water? The crowdfund page said "Not funded" before and now that's been taken off and it's just the generic Nitro page. Man, I hope behind the scenes they have a meeting today with management to change this thing up *cough* better figure selection *cough*.

I'm pretty sure the Nitro stage is dead. Dead, dead, dead. At this point it's an embarrassment for Mattel, that they sunk so much effort into something that not even 4000 people were willing to buy. I believe Mattel is moving on. As for Monday Night Wars figures - I'm on the fence..... either just accept that I'll be buying these things are rip-off scalper prices, or put my foot down & just NOT buy it at all. My standing rule is that if I can't get it from Walmart, I'm not getting it. I'll really want this line, but I feel like as long as we keep doing nothing different, Walmart will never change.

Agreed After all I don’t expect the guy who said “if this doesn’t get backed, we should all quit collecting and watching wrestling because we suck” has stopped watching wrestling or collecting.
