Yeah my hold fell off today. It was showing it as taken out though, now itβs just gone. Nice! I dropped a few hundred at a toy show on Sunday, so Iβm over my toy budget at the moment. I only went because the stage crowdfunding failed. I hear that. I ended up blowing half the crowdfund authorization on RSC. At least I'll get those figs. XD |

So my card has been charged; entered onto my statement on May 4th (I ordered the day before Hogan expired, so it was on hold until then).
Hoping that it gets refunded without me having to deal with Mattel Creations - not had great success with issues with them in the past.

I still think Bill and Steve believe thereβs a larger figure photography community than there actually is.
Watching those campaign videos, the words βfigure photographyβ were used by Steve and Sam so much that clearly this is what the selling pitch was.

Iβm sure itβs kept open for discussion of this crowdfund to prevent a new thread made every time someone thinks of something. |

Your right, the new gen discussion is still open, but it got funded, technically these are unreleased figures, ainβt there some kind of rule about talking about unreleased figures? Iβm just being a jerk about it lol I donβt mind it being up, I just think people are gonna get in plenty of fights in the comments, which I donβt mind too π |

Any word on when everyone should expect their money refunded? Hi, From the UK. The Β£509 is still pending on my account. Is there a rough timescale I will get this back as an overseas backer? Appreciate it shows as pending currently but the amount has obviously been removed from my balance. |

Because the UE line is pretty much planned out a year or two in advance and these made to order spots are reserved for big debuts, newly signed talent, or iconic moments that they want to get out right away without having to wait or shuffle anything around. Plus these were exclusive to the crowdfund and Mattel needs to stick to their guns on some of things or else no one is ever gonna believe another word they say when it comes to these crowdfunds (if they ever do another). |

Crowdfund doesnβt get back, the figures donβt get made. Turning around and saying βHey these figures that we said were exclusive to the crowdfund, well we will be releasing them anyways!β Hurts any potential future crowdfunds if you know they will probably make the figures anyways if it gets backed or not. Best to move on and just make different looks of them in Ultimate form for other lines. Which, none of the looks were really any of the five guys best anyways. |
