I think this means they will restart it in the summer and offer all 5 figures with the stage but still only require 5k backers, and drop the price to $250 as well. Either that or they’ll do the figures made to order. Also I was charged 6 times and need 8 refunds. WHY IS MATTEL STEALING MY MONEY??? |

Maybe they need to set the goal at 2,500 and charge you all $800. You guys seem like you would be down for that.

I'd rather have Warrior as an elite anyways. Throw him in the Defining moment set next year or 2025 (if next year is booked). They released his jacket/duster in the Legends line and as a RSC exclusive (that didn't have additional figures to offset the budget costs) so I don't think he would be priced out of Defining Moments (if they continue to include 2 plainish figures like Cody/Mankind to offset Bret/Shawn).

Yeah they need to offer Mortis, Glacier, DDP in jeans, Chris Jericho and Sting and it would get 15k+ backers, even at a higher price than $400 |

One would hope so but it was a bad showing by the community be tough to try and risk a second failure but you are right seems like the figure selection was big issue for majority of people so never know. I just think if they do try another crowdfund the price will be the thing they focus on most so will be smaller type efforts and maybe if those are successful one day they try it in the future. |

I don't know... they seem reluctant to change (or even address) the international issue - it wasn't just for this set... it's the Mattel Creations site as a whole since they started to included prices in GBP (rather than USD) and also add their own duties/taxes 🙄. They're over-charging on everything. Plus, if they try again with the set, it will probably be in a couple of years... and by then, it'll be even more expensive. |
