I think my desire to fund this, besides money concerns, is going to be entirely decided by Mania Axxess this week and what they reveal. Like if they show some cool Steiner merch I'm not even going to care about this set. They’ve been doing a lot of New Gen stuff for the last year due to the last arena, they probably have some WCW stuff coming Bischoff, Booker T, Savage, Nash, Hall, Flair if they have him/want to make him |

The figure choices, the order of tiers and the price (555 Euros and 480£ for No US collectors) are gonna contribute to fail this project.

I like the stage, but disappointed by figures. Hogan and Warrior should not have been included. Those could have been regular elites somewhere else. And other people sh I uld have been UE like Booker T. Just waiting to see now how they gonna do a WCW ring or conversation kit and what WCW figures they show this year to go with this. Glad for Stiener. Sure the shorts version will be released as a UE or Elite.
Also not to excited at the $400 price point I figure for that much atheist throw in a few accessories like ring skirts, announce table or something else
But we'll see how far this gets backed iam sure the 5k minimum will hit

Re. Figure choices - I do wonder is it
1. Lack of confidence in wcw only / primarily guys? (I don’t think so, at least not from Steve’s perspective but he’s only one person)
2. Licensor (ie wwe) not wanting to push wcw? (There’s a fair few wcw DVDs out there issued by wwe so I don’t think so)
That leads me to think there’s a batch of wcw guys who never come to wwe (or did for a cup of coffee) not signed
I will say though I love that warrior. I get 100% the people who don’t, but for me it’s such a different look to all other warriors (similar to the raw after hof one) that I like it

I think not showcasing the figures with accessories, shirts, vests etc make them look more underwhelming then the selection

I’m sorry but does anyone feel like $400 is a bit much? I could see $300. What if only the 2 or 3 figures are unlocked? Would it be cheaper?

But, for example, if only 5k gets backed and it’s not before 4/7, then it’s just Rey and the stage and still $400. If that happens then I’d say a lot will cancel and may not even get it backed at all. |

I would have loved to see the "Finger Poke" group included with this set. Still get Steiner, Hall, Nash and the Hogan in the baggy jeans.

Steiner & DDP are obviously the highlights of the set. I personally don’t mind the Warrior (obviously), but wish Sting, Raven and Jericho were available for this.

I think the value is probably there IF everything is unlocked. Exclusive UE's are usually more than retail price, but $32.99 + tax is what most of us would spend if we went to Target and bought one. I'll round that to $35 per figure just for this case. $175 worth of UEs, so $225 for the stage. If we saw that stage alone for $225, I think people would see the value in that. Its huge, it looks extremely detailed, and all of the LED lights are really impressive. I'd say there's a good chance I'd cough up $225 for that and I'm sure there's a lot of people that would do the same. But $400 for a toy set still causes some sticker shock. Its not even that the value isn't there but that's just quite a sum of money for most people. |

Of all the people for a WCW Nitro set they pick Hogan Rey and Warrior ? What a shame. The Stage and Scott Steiner are  in amazing , DDP is cool but another mind boggling attire choice, why they wouldn’t have him in his jeans attire. |
