The figures by themselves at $45 (the price of Cody and Logan Paul) would be $225
$400 for the entire thing with all 5 figures unlocked is a good price for what you get, in this capitalist downward spiral known as 2023

This is so sick but $400 is tough at the moment for what could just be the set without all the additional figures. Hoping there’s a good wave of backers like there was for the New Gen arena

As a kid I always wanted a near official scaled entrance stage playset for my figures of either WWE or WCW stages. I'm not a kid no more; but I still want this, and I'm going to fund this. The figures definitely leave something to be desired. Rey seems alright wish he came with the WCW cruiserweight title, Scott Steiner tho has a plain attire I definitely like the look of it, that DDP I like wish it was the jeans look, Ultimate Warrior looks badass not going to lie to myself, and Hulk Hogan is the head scratcher. Obviously people wanted a WCW red and yellow Hogan, but to have as the early bird seems not as good as the Macho man offering.
However I am still excited for the stage it looks absolutely beautiful!

I thought this was a way for Mattel to get obscure 1 Of figures of ultimates that normally wouldn’t sell well in the regular line ie Doink. I’ll probably order it bc the stage is cool but I don’t agree with the figures choices

The only way I can justify backing this is if I start selling off other things to lighten the financial hit.
And that's not even taking into consideration how damn big this thing is. How many people here actually have 3ft x 2.5 ft to display something? This thing would require a table of its own for crying out loud.

So I am curious about this as far as longer term - meaning that it seemed to me like we had an uptick in New Gen figures around the time that they ran the crowdfund through the time that it was delivered. Do you think we will get more WCW Monday Night War centric figures over the next year or so?

We fund wcw shows them there's a demand

Mattel are still limited to who WWE chooses to sign, so it's anyone's guess. But you'd think they would prioritize more WCW figures alongside a project like this. It would make a great question for Steve and Co. during WM Access.

Do you think we will get more WCW Monday Night War centric figures over the next year or so? The only other new gen ultimates we’ve had since/around the new gen arena are a Bret repaint, Razor, Shawn and a Hogan (which was only made cos it won a poll). Razor and Bret are barely even out and the arena has been in hands for a long time now so I really don’t think we saw an uptick.

So it’ll need roughly 400 more backers than the entirety of the new gen backers JUST to get Steiner. Then another 2k to get Warrior
If this ends up getting backed enough to make the project, I think it limps by 9k and dies out
11k people to spend 400 up front is a tall order, especially in the wrestling Figure community.

the more I look at the entrance and the size of it, the more I want it. Figures are a bonus. Honestly can not believe they went with red and yellow Hogan when it was Hollywood that really put Nitro on the map. Also, I love Rey, but... he was not a needle mover for WCW. Just ask yourself how many main event matches was he in? For a 5k number I feel that the DDP is the best figure they have there and should be the automatic inclusion

I’m a huge WCW mark. I love UE figures. I backed the last campaign.
That said, I won’t be backing this. $400 is just too much at this point for something that very likely won’t reach 11k. We limped to 8k last time and that was solely down to Macho Man. Hogan isn’t going to do the same for this campaign.

Also, Early bird Hogan is only available until april 7. That is only 2 weeks away and its not even up for sale yet. That date will give us the indication if this will be funded or even have a chance for the stretch goals. Can not believe this thing will still be going on for a month after the early bird expires

Wait… so if they hit 5,000 before the early backer deadline Hogan is unlocked for all backers?
So if you back at the last minute you get Hogan too if the 5k is met?

Can not believe this thing will still be going on for a month after the early bird expires I hope they have some backup surprises ready if this thing is not near cleared after a few weeks. Just throw in the WCW ropes, ringskirts, turnbuckles and floorpads to convert the RAW IS WAR ring and it will sell.

Love the set but the figure choices are fairly questionable given who they could have placed there to be suitable. Eric Bishoff should have been on offer here, DDP and Scott are great choices, but my god, rather than Hogan, Warrior and Rey, I would have much preferred a WCW piper, and Eddie, or another new singing who is accessible to them, a Billy Kidman or something. I would like to know how Mattel landed on those choices and those looks, Hogan has been done close to that look, As has Warrior, and Rey has just had a WCW look in elite 100, and a number of sets previous. Also why ring mats are not a option is strange considering there are two rings available that would be suitable. Again loving the stage I have zero notes. But figure choices could have been much greater.

The way I see it you have to look at the price and what it includes as the base and then determine if it's worth it because everything else is a bonus and hypothetical. In that case it's not worth it in my opinion. I'd much rather just pay for the stage separately for a lower price.

This isn't getting 11k. Pretty ambitious of Mattel going down the Hasbro route.

I'll be ordering hoping for Hogan and Steiner. Other figs are duds to me.
