Someone tweet the hulkster to go ahead and fund the remaining amount to 5k. We know he can brother haha tell him his hulksters would appreciate it I wonder if the Mattel guys mentioned these plans to Hogan when they did that reveals event at his Beach Shop - obviously some money would have had to be discussed if he was to help promote it, but something probably could've been worked-out, especially involving the shops. The silence hasn't helped anyway.

all of this would’ve been more than $400 Goldberg, Flair and Hogan are reissue or existing figures so they would be cheaper to produce. The outlier is how much they stage is alone because all the Ultimates would be around 250 in stores. Right now if the fund hit 11k the stage comes out to about 250. that's absolutely not how this works...at all... The Stage + Rey is $400...so the stage alone is ~$365-$370 The other figures are added as bonuses as more or sold

Well this is what you get when you alienate international buyers.
I hope they have a good plan b cos I’d like the warrior to see the light of day.
Cut Hogan loose and throw HH 96 Macho in for a 1 week early bird. Everyone who orders within that week gets Macho and Steiner is the base tier. Rey is 11k and Warrior is 9k.
That’s what I’d do.

I'm not entirely sure the WCW Nitro stage was the right choice for the crowdfund. Let's face it the WWE brand is more synonymous in the wrestling world today and how many people remember WCW? especially the current fanbase?
If Mattel thought selling something at that price point with nostalgia being the only selling point to get this moving their going to be sorely mistaken at the lack of interest.
In my case I don't have the space, interest and at that price it's too high for something that is WCW related.
My personal preference would have been the Raw is War stage but at $400 I don't know if that would have done any better.

I’m hoping since it’s looking like Hogan is unlikely that people will back this thing so we don’t lose anymore figures. Especially the DDP and Steiner.

If all else fails I’ll have to go with my emergency plan of funding 3,000 of these myself. I have to have that Hogan!!! Do it ! I had the same thought, reselling would give you your money back and a sweet profit! HH is the only reason that I backed and will cancel if it doesn't hit 5k. I may wait until a little after in case it does fund and they let those that funded during the HH window get him anyway...

It’s getting some movement but I just don’t think we’ll see enough to get Hogan.

Maybe we’d be in the 3-3.5K at best would be my guess.

I went ahead and ordered it tonight. If you are at all on the fence, you might as well just do so tonight and worst case, you can cancel before the the campaign ends if you don't like the final offering.

Sure they are, but I’m not convinced that Nash, Hall, Booker, and Bischoff would be moving more units than Rey, DDP, Steiner, and Warrior. I personally wouldn’t have done Hogan as the early bird, but I don’t think it’s a bad figure. Many of us have been wanting a pre-nWo WCW ring-gear Hogan for a long time. And they just released one of those Hogans in the new Legends line. That wasn’t ring gear, but still likely decreased interest in a pre-nWo Hogan.

The stage itself might be 365 but if all the figure goals were reached the stage comes out to 250 in the consumer eyes. Also I wouldn't say the stage is 370 personally because Mattel is not giving us the figures free. From how cooperation work it makes more sense Mattel is making a bigger profit and the more unlocks balances out the extra figures.

Maybe we’d be in the 3-3.5K at best would be my guess. It's an interesting thing to think about - we don't know the spread of nationalities with the New Gen arena of course so we are really guessing. But Canada and the UK are almost certainly the next two biggest markets after the US and they are affected by the pricing BS. Seems like there would be some business there for Mattel, including buyers of multiple sets given the value of the secondary market here in the UK at least. I think Germany and France are covered as well, who I'm sure provided some New Gen buyers - the Germans especially. I think the Irish and Australians are able to order in USD though, so it'd be interesting to know how their orders performed compared to the New Gen arena. And another thing that could need to be considered might be orders from the importer businesses like here in the UK who buy big quantities from Ringside to resell here - how would they have acted if they had had a $400 plus shipping price to pay rather than $630? Ringside aren't investing in this but other companies might have in different circumstances - there are at least three with that sort of business model who might've taken the opportunity this time. But we'll never know.

Hogan isn’t getting added..is he? Moving merch no more 😞😞😞 A brand new hollywood hulk hogan with more detail and head scan would have move units... Like I said whoever picked these figures to come with the crowdfund stage needs to be reprimanded. These are the worst most generic figures I have ever seen. It's like they selected the worst figures with the worst outfits on purpose.
