If the price was closer to being inline with exchange rates and such where do you think this would be sitting? I don’t think it’d be that dramatic. Maybe we’d be in the 3-3.5K at best would be my guess. I think the Irish and Australians are able to order in USD though, so it'd be interesting to know how their orders performed compared to the New Gen arena. I'm Irish and we're paying in Euro, too. I don't know why they list France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc. when they could just have put "European Union", as the price is the same for all anyway.
For Ireland it's €560 posted, which is $615. To be totally honest, people are complaining a lot about the cost of it and customs, etc. but it's not that bad, really. The international issue has been way overblown. I don't care for WCW so I was never planning to back it, but just out of nosiness I went through a third-party website to see what way I could get it to me cheaper, and it worked out that I could save about €40 ($44) if I used a third party freight-forwarder (and that included asking them to reduce the value of the set to $100 on postage forms, to save on customs fees).
So, although people are saying that the International customers are being fleeced, we're not. We're just paying all the fees up-front instead of at time of delivery (which, in theory, should smoothen out the delivery process).

The big surprise for me was lack of major pod / influencer push Didn’t cardona back like 11 new gen arenas? Also they were very vocal about it, a lot less so this time My words........haven't seen much social push at all! And with no major advertising due to costs its all about social media. The main you tubers and podcasts have a couple hundred throusand subscribers and yet no push there at all! |

What we can do? Buy Multiples if we can, it’s a great investment and is almost guaranteed to bring a profit and a for sure to always bring in what you paid for it, it’s a safe bet
In what world do you think anyone is going to pay more for this set, when it can't even sell, at retail price, to 2,000 people across the whole world, at the peak of wrestling 'season'.
Nobody thinks they will make a profit re-selling, which is why no one is buying 10 of them to re-sell.

Regardless of what it is, the price point is far too high. Someone never put enough thought into that itself. For canadians its 700 dollars which is a joke. That doesnt translate at all from 400usd, i dont care how you break it down its foolish. The stage isnt authentic as all of the logos are wrong because they can't use tnt, although they couldve still curved the word nitro.
The figures are pretty meh. Theyre ok, but just ok. Not adding the announcers area is a massive miss. Not adding parts to refresh your new gen or raw is war rings is a massive miss. Repainting a wwe ring which itself is huge compared to a nitro ring not to mention the posts should be different, ropes should be lower and turnbuckles shouldn't be cloth is also a massive miss because it just leans into how none of it is authentic.
They should've stayed at the previous price point as that was obviously the most anyone wanted to spend. I would've been happy with a repainted retro ring, small retro stage and a few figs for 200 bucks but thats just me

For those who have backed already, would you be content with just Rey and the stage? Yes, because more than the figures I want the stage. If it limps to the finish line and is made this will be an absolute grail piece years from now when people talk about the Mattel WWE line. Losing out on Hogan is disappointing though. |

Steve, I am respectfully asking you and your team if you would reconsider not punishing those who are early backers of the NITRO SET by removing Hulk for us? Last time, what put me over was during the campaign, you decided to throw in Macho Man and the announcer's table. I was on the fence before that ... and that made me jump in because I didn't want to lose out on him. Would you please reconsider this by adding a few days and changing the bonus for those in? I think we will get there, which will be great for you and us ... but taking away something might jeopardize this. I appreciate your consideration. Jesus, at least keep your dignity man My dignity is just fine thanks to Jesus.  . I was making a suggestion/request per the purpose of this forum ... not attacking others like some people unfortunately do. Happy Easter. |

The stage looks amazing, but the figures were a bit of a disappointment. I did not order mainly out of not having room for such a huge set. I would say that a different set of figs may have got me to pull the trigger. The Warrior and Steiner figs would be immediate buys for aside. Hopefully Mattel figures out a fox and gets you guys some or all of this stuff.

It's not out of the realms of possibility that they switch things up a bit: Eg. "Hey Guys - we've listened!! You fans were really excited by the Ultimate Edition Scott Steiner shown with the Nitro Stage - so as a bonus incentive, EVERYONE who backs the stage will ALSO now be getting this exclusive first-time Scott Steiner figure, along with the previously announced Rey Mysterio figure! We hope you'll join us in this exciting project!" They could also alter the tiers to 7K for DDP and 9K for Warrior... still a stretch, but a lot better than 11K. I hope they do something, as it would be great for all you guys on here who really want it. It’s the perception though Last one they had to add macho This one, say they do as you suggest then the next one prople roll again expect something more because we’ve been given more or had it tweaked twice before our if 2 projects |

Well 100% get that Hogan in the future. I could care less anyways I just want this stage. It's still doable Oh, we'd definitely get it one way or another (possibly an Elite instead?). The figure itself was runner-up to the WM9 Fan Takeover UE Hogan (...further proof that including it here as an incentive wasn't really the wisest move...). I asked Steve on Instagram and he said regarding Hogan "we won't release these Ultimates if this doesn't move forward" I think this version of Hogan will be released in the future slightly different perhaps but will get released since it's easy money to be made for Mattel. |

Speaking of the slim configuration, I wonder how much it’d reduce the price if that was how the stage was given to us. The extra parts are unnecessary and just made this thing more expensive than it needed to be.

Honestly, I’m getting to where I could care less about this thing. The lack of promotion and advertisement just make me feel like, as a consumer, that Mattel really care about this either.
Bear in mind, I’ve backed four of these.
With the New Gen set (backed 4 also), Steve and the team were everywhere. It was advertised everywhere and talked about on multiple platforms. With this, it’s been announced and then not mix since then other than a pointless stream video with incoherent rambling from Page, and then an IG video.
I get it was wrestlemania week and all, but first impression are everything and right out of the gate it seems like this has been snake bitten.
Maybe I’ll be proven wrong and it gets backed - we get Rey and the stage. Forget about DDP, Scott, and Warrior. Maybe we will get them as elite. Hogans already done for.
Unless there’s a pivot done on this stage I think it’s all but done. May will be the final mail in the coffin.
