Scalp all these sets you think you can. That’s how it gets made. We had this conversation during the New Gen set. I really don't see buying to resell as "scalping" in this case. The product is made to order and everyone has an equal opportunity to buy over a pretty long period of time (international costs aside). Very different, imo, than the guy standing outside Walmart at 7am who scoops up 3 cases of store exclusives to resell online or at a show and depriving other collectors of a chance to own the figures. Everybody has a chance to own these if they so desire. That said, based on the New Gen set, I think $100 is the floor. I'd expect closer to $125-150, depending on the production run. We know there were a lot of people buying multiple New Gen stages to resell. I don't think you'll see nearly as many resellers on this product, unless we get up to the 9k+ tiers. Lower production and lower secondary market volume should make these figures more difficult to find on the secondary market than the New Gen set. Here’s the weird part about that Your 100% right, but the lesser resell availability the more demand, if this only reaches 5,000 and there is no big poppa pump elite by the time this releases, I see the prices on the resell market going through the roof, anyone who wants the stage will probably be willing to spend at least $250-$300, ray since there will only be 5,000 made will probably be about a $100 figure, but Steiner is where this all tips in everyone’s favor, he will be $150 maybe even at the beginning $200, I mean for a week or so Bret UE that just got released at target was going for $150+ from the guys who found it first in New Jersey, I’m sure Steiner will reach that and beyond for a while, that’s already a good profit on the set, and you could sell these individually and keep what you want for a fraction of the price, don’t care about Steiner and ray? Sell them and keep the stage for only around $100 spending after all set and done, want them all but don’t want to spend $400? buy two, sell one set individually and keep the 2nd one and only spend about $200 for the entire set, The more this gets backed the less value it will have, but the way its looking I’m not sure how much passed 5k it will get which is great for resell value

As someone stated before we have shipping and taxes on top of that. I actually added one to my cart to see the final total and it was just over $800 to ship to Toronto Ontario. Do I think the $400 price is worth it? Yes but now you're asking me to pay double that for an awesome stage and maybe two figures. It's an unfortunate situation but it has to be hurting the numbers. So it’s 800 Canadian? That equals 600 US. And US backers pay shipping and taxes too. Depending on where in the US it comes up to 450-ish. Sure, you have to pay extra for buying something internationally, but its not double the domestic price. You are paying $450ish I'm paying $800 ish. That's almost double. The conversion may be $600 US but that's not what I'm paying $798.35

I'm still on the fence about backing it just because of the price. $400 on a toy is quite a lot, and the year-long wait is gonna feel like forever like the New Gen did.
Personally the Steiner did budge me one way or the other. I rather had DDP get added to the 5k tier personally because I feel that figure is a lot better. Of course I am hyped as hell to finally have Mattel Steiners, but I am underwhelmed by the inaccurate boots and the super plain/inaccurate singlet design. I like the figure well enough but it didn't really pull me in.
Totally my opinion but I am someone who is just frustrated with all of the money I spend on fodder parts to correct mistakes like these. The boots are a big inaccuracy IMO, and the molds for the correct shins and boots have existed for years now dating back to the first UE Brock. But now I need to buy an extra UE Brock because he seemingly is the only guy they'll ever made in the UE line with muscular calves and short boots. I've wasted enough time and money on fixing inaccurate figures from Mattel. A FTIL exclusive that comes with an ultra deluxe toy item like this should not be one of them.
But I imagine that it'll be a big boost for a lot of people! I hope it gets made and I can be one of those guys who jumps in at the very end.

You know they say that all crowdfunds are created equal, but you look at me, and you look at HasLab Galactus, and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you need 5,000 backers to fund a project, you got a 50/50 chance of succeeding. But I'm a WCW Nitro Stage, and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at buy me. Then you add a Hulk Hogan repaint to the mix, your chances of succeeding drastic go down. See the deadline on May 6, you got a 33 1/3 chance of succeeding, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Ghost Rider KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try! So Galactus, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of funding on May 6. But then you take my 75% chance of succeeding, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of funding on May 6. See Galactus, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you on May 6. First ballot HOF post.

I am more inclined to back this after the change. I have other priorities at the moment, maybe I'll end up backing this towards the end of the campaign.

22 extra backers in almost an hour and a half after the change Either it’s gonna be all in on the final day or this just simply will not get backed I’m gonna see if I can cajole my brother to take a bite with me on this now but I shall turn the ticker over by 1 around May 1st.

I’ve backed it after the change. Can’t predict how it’ll go but sure it’ll be all or nothing in the last day.

I love this! Already in the second, the campaign started, but for Mattel and Steve to creatively look for other ways to make this hit. I can't thank you enough. Good luck to all of us. This will be amazing! It's on us now. Collectors have a real chance to own a once-in-a-lifetime collectible that I think will have more value than we know. Good luck to all! I’m not sure how much Pump will resell for. By the time summer 2024 comes around I’m sure we would’ve already gotten a couple elites and probably an UE announcement. When this comes out the demand for his figures will be considerably less. Especially this one that isn’t really a proper representation of anything he ever wore or how he looked during this time.

Pretty close to the tier lineup I think they should have gone with to begin with. Hope this jumpstarts it a bit to get it funded for those who want it.

So with the updated changes, I was going to back it and buy one. I'm in Ireland and i seen that I get USD pricing, so it works out reasonably alright for me to purchase. Works out at $435. But then I twigged that when I chose "rest of the world" i didn't get the pop-up message telling me that all fees were covered. So is that not the case for the 'rest of the world'? It's confusing. I read this on their website, but according to this, even UK customers WILL be getting hit with customs fees (on top of a price that is supposed to include the fees?). It's confusing. From creations.mattel.com/pages/shipping-rates-policy it says: " All prices on the Mattel Creations are shown in U.S. dollars (USD) except in the following countries: Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan. The price is exclusive of any shipping and processing charges (added during checkout), import duties, and taxes (assessed at Customs)." I'm in the UK and I've read that to, I always took it as it should read inclusive instead of exclusive.

To clarify then, the Scott Steiner attire is based on a previous companies version and is a fantasy attire that he never wore in WCW ?.
As well as the beard, boots and version of heavyweight title are incorrect to ?.

Someone said they saw a clip of him wearing it but no image of it was ever uploaded. Only evidence of this attire is the toy biz fig. He never had the US title when he wore the singlet. I believe DDP, Raven, Goldberg, and possibly Bret woulda had it during this time. And the US belt he did have only had two side plates. The goatee is the wrong color pattern. He had two dark stripes on each side of the center and not one solid dark center. Boots are a little too tall as well.
