Honestly with the exception of the UK/Canada buyers who I wonāt include in this, if youāre still complaining you were never interested and should just get out the discussion. The negativity isnāt helping us who want it.

Ā a compromised version that resembles nothing that he ever wore.Ā  Ā  Ā yeah totally doesn't even resemble it at all! /s i understand the arguments about incomplete deco but to argue it doesn't even resemble the attire in the photograph is hyperbolic and untrue. i get why people want to offer their opinions on the figure before it's in production but this is getting ridiculous.Ā Yeah that single star design looks nothing like anything he ever wore. If it were a basic and they had to cut costs and remove deco then I get it. But this is an Ultimate Edition, there shouldnāt be any excuse to exclude it. The lack of any of the airbrushing designs and lettering makes this fig look bad IMO. And yeah this is the figure they showed in both a digital render and prototype. So why would you expect them to add more deco down the road. This is the figure we are getting but with an adjusted U shaped singlet  |

If people donāt back the stage now, they never were going to. The fact itās only gone up 30 backers after the announcement isnāt good either. I love the idea, backed the project and want the crowdfund to succeed, but I donāt know if this can be saved. I used to work in marketing and saw a cut sheet from WWE on who their clientele is. Letās just say $400 is waaaaaaaay out of range for the vast majority of their fans and even the hardcore collectors. The same people that complain about the price will easily drop this much on all the figures that were announced at axcess. This thing is over a year away. Maybe just me and I may sound inconsiderate, but I feel I could easily not spend $35 each month on stuff like coffee, junk food, beer just to make up the cost of the money you spend on this. Agree. A lot of people spend way more in a year on preorders and separate figures. Everyone spends their money differently and indulges in things that others might deem questionable. I personally haven't bought a lot of figures in the past year. I've gotten a bit bored in terms of collecting, so I've focused more on minimalism, a bit of fashion and investing. When it comes to clothing/shoes you could rack up $400 very easily, so I kind of look at it in that perspective. Some might think that paying $250 for a shoe is ludacris, but I enjoy them and only get them if they're on sale. I'd rather skimp out on ten pairs if I could get two good pairs. |

California's rate is 7.25%, Tennessee is 7%. You might be paying some of them dang ol' combined rate local taxes.  Yeah.. thatās what it is. Thereās an extra 2 point something % tacked on top of sales tax.. for some good reason, Iām sure Definitely not upkeeping these roads š It offsets us not having a state income tax like most states do. |

Iāll be shocked if this project gets backed. Not for lack of trying on Mattelās part though. Too many people wanting too many different demands met. Every time they try to make something right, people find something even smaller to nitpick. The only ones I really feel bad for are the international collectors. They have a legitimate gripe. I actually saw someone on Reddit say they would have a hard time coughing up $100 for this set lol. The delusion is real in the wrestling figure collecting community.

The only problem remaining here is the international situation
They only had one chance to relaunch this with a fixed tier system (which they did the best they could considering they already sold 2k-ish units with Rey) but they have still alienated a massive chunk of their base by scamming international folks.
Whether FOMO kicks in on the last day or two and gets this thing up to 5k weāll have to see.

People flipping from not backing unless steiner was part and now scrutinising his attire is peak it's so tiring but par for the course around here. i thought today would be more positive and fun with the steiner addition but nope, now people have moved onto the next thing to scrutinize. i'm all about using the discussion forum as intended and discussing the figures and even offering suggestions for improvements, but it's at the point where only a handful of us are actually giving off good vibes and everyone else is arguing, nitpicking and bringing total negativity to the thread. i tried to bring some fun energy this week but i'm just going to stay clear of this thread for awhile š„·āļø |

Thats CAD. Which converts to 597.32 US. Which is not double the domestic price. Its less than 150 difference from the US. Are you forgetting that Americans are only paying $400 plus tax? Your math is off there. $597.32 is not what $400 plus tax ends up being lol. Us pays 400 + tax + shipping. Depending on where you live its around 450. And if you buy something internationally you should expect to pay more. When i buy stuff from the EU i pay more than a local. Thats part of life. |

It's good that Scott Steiner was added to the crowdfund for those that were on the fence. I'm patient enough to know Scott Steiner will be released in the elite or Ultimate line before all the backers get this Scott Steiner. Has the international shipping prices and taxes been fixed yet? Since I feel thats what's stopping this getting funded?
