At what hour mark was the new Gen one fully funded? Looking around in the thread, deadline for Macho Man was 8/13. 9:23AM central -- 3,848 backers 1:36PM central -- 96% funded (4,800/5,000) Went to hit 4,900 and gain 100 backers in 20 minutes. Officially hit the 5k minimum at 2:10PM 8:17PM we unlocked Doink at 7k backers 10:59PM (1 min before Macho Man deadline) it hit 9k and got the ring skirts as the final stretch goal funded So from approx. 9:30AM to 11PM, 5,152 backed the New Gen set. The backers went up 234% in the final 14 hours. |

I sold my WCW red and yellow Mach for retail and kind of regret it now. |

You know something that hasn't been talked about enough, is if this succeeds (and even more so if it hits the stretch goals), Mattel has more reason to push WWE to sign new WCW names to figure deals. Would be great to get some more deep-dive WCW figures - mid-carders, tag-teams, luchas/cruiserweights, managers, women, staff, wrestlecrap, etc. While WWE are still responsible for the negotiations and contracts, AFA has confirmed multiple times that Mattel does indeed regularly have discussions with WWE where they are able to put up suggestions/requests on who they would like WWE to consider approaching. And despite what some WWE fanboys here try to imply, the list of talents currently available is not a static thing, nor are all the names ever publically known, nor has it ever been restricted to purely A-listers. And again, Mattel definetely has input. So if you're a WCW fan, yet another reason why this needs to succeed. Please everyone keep spreading the word and sending the link to people you know. |

I think the Theman said Buddy expected Billy Kidman in the MNW line, which has been a huge want. I'd like to see Shane Helms in his white dancer gear, Mortis, Bagwell, Norton and even ones that had previous WWE figures like Bulldog, The Disciple, Vincent, JJ Dillion just to name a few. Steve mentioned Glacier not being someone they could sign atm, they give WWE a list of wants and they have the final call. BTW, did we ever get a La Parka from another company??? I could of sworn we saw protos a few years back. He's a huge want too. |

Almost all my major wants are WCW and ECW guys. We don't even have easy stuff like Kidman, Juice, and K-Dog. I want Lash Leroux, Price Iaukea, and the entire Natural Born Thrillers. So any push this all gives WCW is a net positive imo. And where is my David Arquette?
