You can all take a victory lap around me (a non-backer, with no vested interest in whether this succeeds or fails) if it manages to crawl over the finish line and/or exceed expectations. I'd like to further invite all who are interested to find humor in the "oh, cool" or "well, alright" reaction I'll have tomorrow morning when I wake up to see whether this made it or not.

Elimination chamber or hiac would’ve done much better. they transcend eras I personally wouldn’t have bothered with either. To me, with huge playsets like that, what’s the point if you’re not playing with them? Stages are great display pieces. To me, big cages are not.

While I don't disagree with that sentiment I will say that if it fails Mattel can learn from it and maybe market/position the next one better. That would be the only silver lining and reason for celebration (although "celebration isn't the right word but you know what I mean) if it fails. The problem is...things cost a certain amount to manufacture. Many people are simply DELUSIONAL when it comes to what kind of room Mattel has to change or add things to projects like this. 100%. I thought the Star Wars Haslab crowd was unrealistic. This fan base is beyond delusional.

There’s lots of different reasons this has struggled as much as it has and each reason (or reasons) differs depending on the person. Some chose not to because of reason A, some reason B, etc. There’s no specific reason for any of it.

I have finally backed it, I wasn’t going to because of the nonsense with the international prices and no pay options. But i am a fan of this it looks amazing. Just hope moving forward they actually help international buyers and show us some love. I'm hoping for 1630 more people like you... Final time offer for two sets to be backed for international buyer(s) that would purchase if they had a financing option. I will back here in Philadelphia and ship once in hand to you via a method of your choice. I can do two at the 12 month installment and be pay paled monthly from the overseas member (will ship once hand and payments have all been received along with the shipping costs/method). If you prefer one of the no interest finance options I can do that too but I need the first installment sent in a week or two as to not cut into my own financial wiggle room paying out an extra $100-200 biweekly. 2 extra won’t make a huge difference, but last shot for international customers to get a chance if this does make it somehow to 5k

there just isnt enough interest for this i guess. i still think they made a mistake at 5k backers. rather it was expecting 5k to back it, or not adding 3 figures to the initial fund at 5k... we shall never know why it hit a brick wall ... still far from over, but again hopefully we Stiener and DDP down the road. We know why it hit a brick wall. The momentum died half an hour into day one because of two key issues: -international customers were being overcharged. The item went up at £470 the day before launch. Which was still far too much, but it suddenly jumped to £500 that day. No explanation was given. They were not transparent about why we were paying more than $220 more than American customers (excluding our shipping costs). -the Hogan early bird was verifiably a dud. Both the figure and the execution. The early bird was supposed to drive people to back early, but it didn’t My opinion is individually these things may have been able to be overcome. But together they killed it. Had they launched this with a 10 day order window for Steiner as an early bird. So anyone who ordered after that time DIDN’T get him. And had they charged international buyers the same as Americans, and let us pay our customs and duty NEXT YEAR when we received our items, I think this would have hit 7k at least. Mismanaged from top to bottom. And if people make excuses or lay the blame on fans then mattel can never learn from this. This is exactly it, plus taking away international customers ability to have a payment plan option was a bonehead move from Mattel

Elimination chamber or hiac would’ve done much better. they transcend eras I think they are waiting for a bigger base of ultimate scale rings owners to do any accessories for it. HIAC may not need to be crowdfunded. It’s 5 mesh walls with some hinged pieces.

It was £15/$21 when I bought it locally here in the UK about 3 weeks ago. So it's a mixed bag. I did that WCW conversion by swapping the head and boots from the Legends 9 figure. Any pics of that fixup? Would love to see it. Sure thing, have you got an IG? It'd be easier for me to send to you on there.

DAMN this thing is moving slow today.
A lot of day to go, its not even 8AM pacific time.
1,600 by 11PM tonight, I don't think is impossible.
I overreached by saying we'd get DDP.
But I will still quietly hope for a miracle.

What’s the time remaining / current amount? 16 hours and it was still at 67 % What sort of time is it in the states currently / the time zone it finishes? Are people still at work for example or has the majority of the working day / office hours etc finished? What I’m getting st is can we expect a sudden rush when people finish work etc? (Just easier to ask than Google time difference and work it out etc)

PJ I'm not trying to argue.... just trying to understand; You shouldn't have been charged anything at all until the Crowd-Fund is officially cleared; So I'm leaning towards the belief that what you are seeing is some sort of hold on your card, to hold the funds for the "possible" upcoming charge(s).... Example: I have a $28 hold on my card for a Target Pre-Order I placed (Brother Love).... and that's flipped back a couple times and confused the heck out of me..... but I know it's just holding the amount for whenever the product is in stock & ready to ship; Please explain if I'm way off base - - - but why were you charged already if the Crowd-Fund hasn't been backed yet?

I wonder if Smackdown will have anything on this tonight? Could be the last Hoorah for the masses to see this offering and learn the clock is running out.

The moment Pastamania Hogan became impossible, the lineup should have been shuffled. Hogan should have moved to one of the tiers like he is now, and probably Steiner should have moved to the early bird. I wouldn't have made Rey the 5000 figure either. I agree about making the early bird actually exclusive to those that back early. There has to be real incentive to get people to back early, and "helping" the whole community get a Hogan figure is not that.
