Win or lose, I’m just glad that throughout the last couple of weeks after the crowdfund was announced, everyone stayed classy, respectful and encouraging on this thread…. I'm just happy I was part of something historical. This is a classic Wfigs thread. My expectations were lost throughout the first two weeks, but I still remained hopeful and enjoyed spreading the word and trying to help out. It's cool to see a group of people who share a hobby get together for something they enjoy so much. I feel like we're close and it's best not to admit defeat till the final bell. |

So, everyone needs to wake up and tag in, order a couple 2 or 3 more, maybe another every 3 minutes just for yourself to help out. Don't forget the nieces and nephews. They'll need something to play with at next years bbq. Keep one just at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Keep 1 in the box just for parts. Helps with weight in the vehicle for those that slide around and can't afford those new tires. Go get em! Bro how many people can afford more than one $400 set 😂😂. I’m a damn waiter. |

To me, this falls directly on Mattel’s marketing, OR RATHER, THE LACK OF MARKETING THIS THING HAD AT ALL. You aren’t going to get people to drop $400 in the final hours advertising it on SD after you realized your marketing flowchart for the past couple weeks was a disaster. You announce the stage during WM weekend and DON’T promote it during the actual show over two nights? I was absolutely stunned they didn’t do that and realized real quick this thing was in trouble. I love Steve, but dude can make any excuse he wants, this falls on him and his team. Total lack of competence.

Okay. It’s confession time: I backed this thing well over a week ago, but knew it’d never get to 5k (besides Wednesday). So I knew that money was never actually going anywhere. This thread has been a blast making jokes to pass the time.

I backed this but I did tell you, they messed up massively with the UK and international market.
No price plan - like come on who has a spare £500 unless you have a credit card.
Overpricing - well you already know
I wanted this to and I mean I have said on here and to Steve.
If we can sell 65k in Aew tickets at Wembley stadium because it was reasonably priced I am sure you would have atleast got an extra 1k+ backers if they wasn’t robbing us
