do you reckon we can keep this thread going longer than WCW was a thing? 13 years? I doubt it

They made both the Nitro and Raw is War stages too big. Making them smaller and choosing some cheaper parts, and they could both get funded at lower price points.

I don't think they need to change anything about the stage, I think a strong early backer figure would've funded it for sure. I say they try again in a year or two, they'll be much more hype around it and the wcw ring would be out by then.

This thread is still going?! I do agree that the stage was too large and too pricey for what they offered. IF they try the RAW stage, it should be shrunk down to fit on a bookshelf.

Ah I thought you meant shrink it down, smaller than it's supposed to be (compared with the figures), I hate it when toy companies do that (e.g. NECA Turtle Van, MOTUC Castle Grayskull). The Nitro stage scale looked right to me, but I didn't compare it side to side to real pics or anything, so I could be wrong.

Our direct contact from Mattel (Steve) to help us get answers, truth, and insight into our hobby seems to have taken a significant break from this forum. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I wonder why?

My issue with these crowdfunders is the length of time it takes from plopping my money down to the time I get it. I understand 100% why it is that way, I just don’t like it haha. I’m impulsive, I was the kid that’s parents were saying “save your money until you see something you really want” and I said “Hell no, I want something TODAY!”

Wouldn’t think too much of it. SDCC is right around the corner and I remember last year he was very occupied with the day to day during this time. I fully suspect he will be back regularly post comic con

Random but since this didn’t make it, I was gonna use the funds for the Hot Toys Sonar suit from Batman Forever
Went to the local shop that had it and they marked up the price $30 from what it was originally and informed me the neck peg was broken. So I let ‘em keep it
Used the funds for the 1 of 1000 Cody MOC. Much rather have the American RollerCodester

I went to the Q&A from May of last year (page 653) and he only posted like twice during May 2022 and he wasn't actively promoting a crowdfund in April like he was this year. He definitely deserves a break from us.

Man, I really wish there was another way for the stage to be released, don't care out the figures. Re-watching Nitro makes me want it even more

If the figures being dropped meant it being cheaper then they’ve gotta go for it
