Always thought the later star-shaped Nitro stage was way cooler than the original Nitro stage.

Man, I really wish there was another way for the stage to be released, don't care out the figures. Re-watching Nitro makes me want it even more As much as I'd love the complete stage (though I never cared about the figures), personally I'd settle for just getting that WCW letterblock. That would make a great display piece by itself. Would be nice if Mattel could release a WCW-themed boxed set of figures including one WCW letterblock, similar to that old-school Raw 3-pack they did a while back which came with the Raw letters. I'd want the WCW letterblock to be correctly scaled though (same as it was on the Nitro stage prototype) not shrunken down or using reduced depth or anything.

Yeah but I have to ask if ___ is in ____ attire from the ____show. or why we haven't gotten ____(guy who isn't signed) I honestly can't even tell you how many times I roll my eyes when reading some of these questions.... "what kind of hips will ______ figure have?" then there are the other ones that just attack or insult him or Mattel..... Yeah I'm sure he's taking a rest. I would have quit long ago.

I know this is salt in the wound for a lot of us, but...
Haslab just revealed the next GI Joe Classified crowdfund. 6in scale Dragonfly helicopter w/ 1 figure. 10k minimum backers, with additional figures at 13k, 16k and 19k. $275. The project already has 2,500 backers half an hour in.

I wonder what international shipping is like

I wonder what international shipping is like I wouldn’t say significantly cheaper. It’s only $125 difference and probably a quarter of the scale or less and only 1 guaranteed figure vs 2. That being said, even with a cheaper price tag it’s already raised more in just 4 hours than Nitro did its entire run. $1,714,900 ($275 x 6236) vs $1,572,800 ($400 x 3932)

Did hasbro charge international customers an extra $200? No. And neither did Mattel.

I’d buy a Mattel helicopter if it came with an ultimate Sting.

Our direct contact from Mattel (Steve) to help us get answers, truth, and insight into our hobby seems to have taken a significant break from this forum. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I wonder why? Because the crowdfund failed? What are you even getting at with this post? That we should've all forked over $400 a few more times? That we didn't beg the guy at the bus stop to order his own toy Nitro stage? That we should've all backed 4 each to keep the Q&A thread going? Whether or not AFA is taking a break because he has hurt feelings over this project, is not your business; my business; or anyone else's business. Its also baseless assumption, and a foolish one to post with no context, but with sarcasm that looks to point fingers. And I don't think its off-base to suggest that maybe posts name dropping him and calling out his recent absense is far more the fault, rather than inability to accept this project just didn't see the light of day. At the end of the day, he's a dude with a job and a hobby. I mean what a stupid thing to post. Really.

I'm glad he hasn't decided to quit this forum yet given some of the comments he sees here.
