Did they go overboard with the tiers? I know it’s gotta have X amount made to be profitable for Mattel but for hogan whether it hits 5k in the first week or 5k+ later on, makes no difference besides a motivator for people to back now. But if 5k isn’t reached in the first week that will devalue the set for many who may have planned to back it eventually. If You told me all the tiers would be guaranteed if backed by 11k I’d have my money down already. Instead we play this game; I’m sure some people like it & it incentives people to buy multiples but it could backfire big time. the new gen did 8,495 backers. So another 2,505 ontop at a higher price point (albeit for a bigger set with more figs) is asking a lot imo Especially given someone needs the room for this. The new gen they could at least display the figs and entrance if they didn’t have space for the ring (the set was more modular) but this is all of nothing. You didn’t display just a bit of the set or half of it etc |

This honestly would be a great question to pose during the upcoming Q&A with Steve and Bill. With no additional pieces being added to this crowdfund, I really hope we aren't going to be sold a separate Nitro ring with an included exclusive UE figure. But knowing Mattel, that wouldn't surprise me. Gobbledy Gooker is being sold alongside an Undertaker figure that has been released what, 3 times now? We are absolutely going to be sold a separate ring. My guess is it'll come with two very enticing figures to convince people to buy another ring (Outsiders would be my guess). That'll be the model for these crowdfunds: high-value niche item, followed by slightly more retail-friendly ring/supporting item, followed by retail-friendly figures. I would def pick up a Nitro ring. Part of me would love it if Mattel gave us the flame ring mats and those unique ring posts WCW had. |

Wouldn't a Crowdfunder type thing be perfect for this type of specific figure attires? Collectors want Jeans DDP, an 10-year old kid is barely gonna know DDP. IMO, Hogan and Warrior should've been done for the mainline as anchor's to another figure, but the crowdfund should be more to meet collector's demands that won't probably sell as much in the regular mainline. Another example of this would be Scott Hall in his Nitro debut gear, that sells to collectors, that isn't really an anchor for the mainline. I don't disagree with what you're saying, but I think we approach this from different angles...Personally, I'm not particularly attached to any DDP attire...so it doesnt matter. But I think most people want the jeans. So they are not going to first time in the line, in a crowdfunder the jeans look...Same with something like chainmail Big Poppa Pump...they can both move big numbers without the risk of being lost to a failed crowdfunder... idk that Nitro Debut Warrior gets made as a mainline UE either...but maybe I'm wrong The main event pulled a humongous 8.6 rating (15million viewers) with that said I love that warrior, it’s different and the best figure of the lot imo I agree 100% I was ecstatic to see the Warrior reveal, and at the same time bummed out, because I think 11k is out of reach. I'm buying 2 of every Warrior that hits retail |

I hate that you don't find that out after you hit "complete order." I would prefer to know what my payments would be.

I would prefer to know what my payments would be. There were options. You can do 4 bi-weekly payments (which i did) and yes it split it into 4 payments with no interest. You can split it out to even longer but they charged interest on those so i did the 4 payment plan. |

Blame Canada lol no seriously it's governments that have screwed over international buyers. I had a buddy ship my 5 gargoyles figures and 1 a month I have to send because the custom charge is way to high. Luckily he found me a elite hideo itami so we are even. This is simply not true. It is not government's fault and Mattel absolutely could do something about this. If mattel got a distribution agreement with their wholesalers or a 3rd party logistics company in Canada, Uk, Australia etc then they could ship the ordered qtys for that country directly to the wholesaler/3pl from the manufacturer. This would reduce the tax burden because when you ship goods straight from the manufacturer your declared cost for customs is the manufacturing cost price which will be significantly lower than the retail price. In fact if you think about it they are already having to import the stock and pay import charges to get it from the place of manufacture to the US to then distribute it. They would also save significantly on the shipping costs because they pay once to ship x pallets to the country then a local shipment rate. Again they are currently shipping from manufacturer to the US to another country. 2 lots of international shipping instead of 1 international and 1 local. The only added cost you could argue for is for the services of the logistics company which having experience in that area I can assure you are very competitive. Equally you could counter argue they are likely having go pay a distribution fee in the US anyway so you are simply moving who you pay this too. So Mattel could save on shipping and save on customs. In turn a lower price can be passed onto the consumer. Mattel chose to do a broken process NOT the consumer (us) and not the local governments. Personally I'd like to back this but at a fair cost and to get this shipped to the UK is astronomical. So unless they sort something out I personally won't be backing it. |

All the soft goods stuff looks really poor. I hope the final products are better. Warrior’s duster is a deep 💩 brown instead of a beige/khaki colour

Seems weird they announced a ring but not who’s with the ring. Surely knowing like ‘oh I can totally add Ultimate Luger’ or whoever to the stage would drive numbers
