I thought he’d lose it @ WM39 for sure. I’d say he’s holding it til SummerSlam but I wanna see em hold it til WM40.
If we get Rock vs Reigns then I’m sure he’ll retain & eventually lose em to Cody, Gunther, Bron etc.

Should’ve happened last night.
But can’t happen soon enough. Let the golden boy get his 1,000 days and be done with it. This title run is nowhere near as legendary as they act like it is.

Would you still say it’s one of the best reigns in the last 5-10-15 years? Possibly the last 20 years? A lot of great moments during Roman’s Reign (pun intended lol). Most people want it to end anyways & it probably should have ended last night.

Can't happen soon enough. I'm sorry, but Roman as champion is just beyond boring at this time. The entertainment of the whole Bloodline (for me, I'll make sure to not make it seem like I'm talking for everyone) was from others involved. Roman, it's just the same, crying for people to acknowledge him. The way I look at this reign is since last year's Mania to now, is worse then when Brock would hold one of the titles. The reason was, at least when Brock would just now show up, you had another World Champion to appear in his absence.

It’s not furthering anything at this point other than the days he holds the belts and Vince getting off on it. Like Cody said, a 10 year investment that didn’t start paying off until year 8. And I’ll never buy into WWE making the right decision on giving the right guy the “rub” - WrestleMania 30 taught me that. 20 years of an undefeated streak and they gave it to a guy that didn’t need it. But that’s WWE for ya. Steadily making worse decisions the longer they’re around.

Probably SummerSlam or next WM. When Cody wins, everyone will get excited and then turn on him.

But only wwe can send 80,000 people home pissed off and disappointed. It’s kinda their thing.

I wouldn't be against Roman holding it until WrestleMania 40, then losing it to GUNTHER.
Otherwise, if WWE signs Jay White, i'd definitely like to see him win it.

Yeah the E really screw up special moments tbh, Rhodes vs Reigns could have been one of the all time great WM main events… still a great match overall.

If he didn't lose last night I don't see how it would make sense to have him drop it between now and Mania 40 short of some kind of injury.
They're probably still hoping for Roman/Rock at Mania 40.

Whoever beats Roman; needs to be the next babyface hero of the company. Not a second top guy or third top guy; whoever beats him needs to carry the next generation.
I think Cody Rhodes can do that but I don’t think he’s mega long term investment. He’s gonna be 38; I think he’s super over. But I think longevity is big issue. I think Cody can definitely carry the company 3-5 year period.
This all is under the assumption Roman doesn’t lose it; world maybe Rock program and Bloodline fallout angle. Disappears comes back as babyface and has another big title run that embraces the fan.
I think If we can get intensive chase angle with Cody pursuing Roman to Summer Slam or the end of the year if enough plot elements are bulky
I’m sorry it was to cliche and shotgunned for Cody to win. I think there’s story to be told and high drama for Roman to get his in the end drop the championship in cataclysmic moment.
Have Cody work Brock for Backlash. Have Roman go off on his B/S that the USOs failed. And have Sikoa get favorable treatment. Brock is on Cody’s case; for relevance. Reminding everyone he’s big match player. And something else. Use Brock as benchmarker for Cody; because Brock at one point had a edge on Roman.
Cody can be hungry and wanting to get to Roman by any means. Have him blow Brock off in continuing too call Roman out; pissing Brock off more.
They have 3 stages of hell match something barbaric; puts Cody over.
Roman returns to police the infighting growing in the bloodline; and Cody continues to confront and pester him beating Brock. Someone that took Roman 4 tries to defeat
And Roman denies him; Roman frustrated as USOs redeem themselves taking Cody on in 2 on 1 handy cap match when USOs look to finish him; Orton returns going Ballistic
Orton plays more on his sadistic Viper side. And plays on the fact he was gunning after Roman last year till he got hurt.
Orton reunites with Cody Rhodes; but reunion grows intense on the fact both want Reigns. Cody is growing on the crazy side.
Roman drives wedge between the two as the two teamed up failing to defeat USOs with some cliche miscommunication.
Roman continues to instigate this and has the two face in 1# contenders match; that goes balls to the walls with Orton winning.
Cody sets his sights on winning King of The Ring; as Cody and Sikoa clear through Entry matches and Quarter Finals. As showdown is hinted.
Randy let’s loose like the Viper of old almost punting Reigns but stopping to get in his head and instead punting Heyman we get 2009 Orton
Also the pieces of Orton being Romans first major victory is connected and Orton claims Romans grown into legend but now it’s his time to kill it
Roman and Randy face in Last Man Standing which was brutal but ended in Reigns victory,
Cody and Sikoa in hard fought tournament go the distance and face off in KTOR with Sikoa shattering Rhodes dreams and defeating him.
Roman goes to the Money In The Bank PPV Event after disrespecting and attacking Triple H on Raw. And spitting on Triple Hs legacy; provokes the game.
There will be 2 ladder matches at MTIB. One for the briefcase and one for Romans title gold… Essentially all star list of people Roman as defeated and add Bobby Lashley in bc why not
Bobby Lashley - Randy Orton - Kevin Owens - Edge in 6 man Ladder match
Roman is ganged up on and hated for his crimes and Romans never had this many people assembled against him at once but still weasels out
To follow this Cody goes more manic and crazy as he lashes out savagely attacking Sikoa and other heel wrestlers
Pearce bans Cody from MTIB Ladder match
However he insults Sikoas integrity calling Him Romans top b*** and what’s he gonna do with KTOR title lay down for Roman?
Sikoa challenges Cody to the match; and wants to shame him in Texas Bullrope match. Cody agrees under the stipulation if he wins he can enter the MTIB. Pearce refuses but Cody provoked Sikoa making Sikoa threaten Pearce till he gives in
Roman furious at this grows wedge with Sikoa saying he’s letting his pride get in the way planting seed between them
Rhodes and Sikoa go at it and it’s brutal but Cody in the end of the match annihilates Sikoa with the the cowbell and ends him the way he would of ended Roman at Mania
Cody enters star studded MTIB which was 2nd to last match
McIntyre, Gunther, Rollins, Austin Theory, Sami Zayn, Rey Mysterio
Cody battered somehow does it
In the main event as mentioned Roman retains; Cody comes out having Roman at his mercy only does this to tell him he’s cashing in at Summer Slam in No Holds Barred Iron Man match bringing Roman to seeing his life flash before his eyes
In the build up to it Roman insults Dusty his family legacy; and we have Roman attempt to take Cody out before Summer Slam. And insults Rhodes wife for her husbands failures.
It’s in mystery if the match will happen. Goldust comes out to get revenge challenging Roman to Unsanctioned match. Roman obliterates Goldust. It’s promoted Goldust can never step foot in ring again.
Cody returns in this chaos and attacks Roman going nuts, destroying the ring dropping security guards nailing Pearce with a chair for trying to break it up, and tackling Roman through part of the set.
Trying to cripple Roman; Pearce suspends the match and that Roman will not defend the title. Cody irate knowing the cause is gone; Roman despite this played into this and demanded it to be reinstated and he even ran it by the new owners who want the match, but on Romans term.
Roman will sign to reinstate the match if Cody puts his career on the line - Cody signs away it’s on,
This iron man match will have no sudden death as well If it’s tied Roman wins
We come to Summer Slam Roman gets the edge as he’s adapted to Rhodes and it seems he’s gonna snuff Rhodes out Rhodes makes false come back at 40 minute mark catching up to 5-3; but out of nowhere Spear shuts him down to 6-3. Continued beating.
Cody comes back with Roll. Up and Cross Rhodes in final wind it’s 5-6. Cody manages to nail Roman with title shot to get to a 6-6. At the 51 minute mark.
Bloodline in last ditch hit the ring destroying Cody, but all they’re plots are foiled when assembly of baby faces come out and have one final brawl with the bloodline maybe get the rock in it?
They fight the heels off in dramatic fashion and all them surround Roman and give them peace of they’re mind
Roman and Cody both laid out and slowly get to they’re feet fighting; Roman goes on survival mode and gets close to evading but Cody breaks through and engages in one final offensive and ends it with CrossRhodes
Cody is Champion in a huge massive moment he’s help you by the other baby faces as Roman glares Being held by Heyman
From here we can have new WWE Draft Cody the next night on Raw will have huge crowning moment as Orton comes out bringing special guest Ted Dibiase greeting and reuniting as They hug Rhodes family
Dibiase hoists Orton in the air and much like Randy’s fall from grace in 2004; history repeats. Orton bludgeons the champion and ends it with a Punt
Orton and Rhodes program; we can work on splitting the titles and further building Bloodline fallout

Next Wrestlemania. Why blow it on a smaller show. Crown someone on the grandest stage then give Roman time off.

Good idea & give us Reigns vs Rock. That’s a great way to build the future of the company! Hahaa u gotta admit that it’ll be one of the biggest matches ever. I’d have Reigns beat Rock then have em drop the Title to a young guy afterwards.
