Two of the biggest names in wrestling & sport’s entertainment since the 80s,90s, even the 70s & 2000s! You might as well throw in the 2010s & 2020s too! Both guys are still popular til this day & I love it whenever they still show up on WWE TV in this current era.
This one’s real sticky but I’m barely going with Hogan for now but I’ll probs change my mind to Flair real soon😂😂 both great on the mic & in the ring, both guys drew big money and had many great matches over the years.

I gotta give Hogan his props for being the reason wrestling two biggest eras kicked off but always preferred Flair.

Hogan!
He is the reason why I got into wrestling. I knew of WWF before NWA, so Hogan would always get my pick.
Plus, people can say that Hogan did the same match all the time, sure, say it. But the more matches I watch of Ric Flair, I don't understand why wrestlers were fans of Flair.
Chop, chop, chop, reversal, get thrown into the corner, chop, chop, chop, reversal get thrown into the corner, do weird bump over the top to the apron, then A: run to the other turnbuckle and get slammed, or B: get caught half way with a clothesline and fall to the apron
I will never understand why people think Flair is so good.

Hogan. Gave me some of my greatest memories as a kid watching wrestling. Then he pulled me back in during the Summer of 96 & made me watch again when I was only a sporadic viewer.
Flair is great & I enjoy the man's body of work tremendously but he didn't have the same impact on me.

Growing up Hogan, but now Flair. Though for me personally both men have only tarnished their careers since retiring. (My opinion, don’t need feedback on it.)
Still, I‘d much rather watch Flair’s matches than Hogans at this point.

hulk for sure! not even a question.
he WAS wrestling in the 80's. then helped re-juvinate wcw wrestling in 1994 & again wrestling as a whole in 1996.
i do have to say all the magazines helped keep flair at the top as well back in the day as they seemed to favor NWA/flair over hogan.

May sound crazy to some, but neither one of these would be in my top 10 of all time.
However, between the two I vote for Hogan. I was way more entertained by him than Flair.

Fun Fact, of Savage's 6 world title runs in WCW and WWF, he only lost the title to Hogan & Flair (three times to Hogan and three times to Flair). So, for that reason, I pick neither...

A racist or a sexual predator? Choices, choices. But I have never liked Flair. Never liked his wrestling style or his promos. He was okay in the mid 00s when he was doing some hardcore matches etc, but other than that, meh. Hogan was my first favorite wrestler, and I still love a Hogan match every now and then, so, Hogan.

For me it’s a tie, but if I need to pick one I would have to give it to Hogan. While I may like Flair more I feel because of his stage Hogan did more to make wrestling popular.
