Can anyone explain why the cost of shipping has again gone crazy on ringside?
A few months back I ordered elite 96 Hogan and paid $12. Now if I want a defining moment figure it’s $23 to Australia.
How on earth can it have doubled? They all come in a plain cardboard box with no packaging at all. What’s the justification here guys? I support the site so much, but this is out of control.

It's ridiculous. I was looking at ordering five figures the other day and the cheapest shipping option was $76 USD.

It's become really bad, to the point where i'm thinking about giving up on RSC all together... Which is a shame, because it used to be pretty affordable for us here in Australia.
- 2017, when i did my first order, it was $17 shipping for 2 figures. - 2018, i did an order for 12 figures, and it was $83 for shipping. - 2019, for 6 figures it was $46
Yesterday when i decided to pull the trigger on both UE Razor's, i figured i'd add some other stuff i was after as well... For 6 figures, the shipping was about $96 ALONE. So i ended up passing on the rest of it, and just going with the 2 Razor's, which ended up being $44 for shipping.
Keep in mind, all these prices are still USD, and not even converted to AUD yet. So in the end, those 2 Razor's cost me $179AUD.

I just don’t understand how their shipping literally doubles every time you add an additional figure to the cart.

It's ridiculous and the best bet is to get someone in the US to get them from RSC and post them to you directly. It's much cheaper that way than going directly through RSC now.

I’m lucky in that I can do that sometimes, but hassling people for every figure I want is such a pain. It’s also jumping up more often than it should. Not to mention no discount when adding items. Someone at ringside should be looking at this.

RSC doesn’t set the rates the carriers do. The price of jet fuel and other operations costs have gone up so they shipping carriers are charging them more.

Look at other companies. They charge way less. The big bad toy shop or the shop for collectors etc... Ringside always had the most expensive shipping costs.

Also doesn’t address why there is no combined rate when clearly the carriers don’t double when weight goes up.

They charge way less. spams or the shop for collectors etc... I worked for UPS for 10 years and it depends on the account. I would be asked this on a weekly basis by companies I picked up at. They’d ask why their rates were higher than the store/company next to them. (Happened in the mall a lot) And all I could say was contact your agent and see what they can do for you. An account like RSC which is a one building operation but probably have to have a premiumservice where the carrier company leaves a trailer at their dock that gets picked up once a day by the carrier. They need to do this because it would be too many packages for their regular carrier to take in their package car. (The brown delivery truck) and I am sure they have that service with both UPS and USPS. Well, they get charged more by those carriers for that service. And not all accounts are the same an account with multiple facilities gets a larger discount because of all the facilities they are servicing. Especially one that has facilities world wide. But a company like RSC will be charged more for the same service because they aren’t generating the same volume as the others ones that have it at all their facilities.

I would order waaaay more from RSC if their UK/international shipping fees were more reasonable.

That’s not the rates you see or are charged on the carriers sites/pamphlets. Their rates are programmed in their systems by updates.

They aren’t paying for a premium service to have the PO leave a trailer at their house every day.

You just keep selecting parts of my post so this is becoming pointless. If a guy off the street AND every other company can beat these prices rsc needs to look at why they have no better options.

You just keep selecting parts of my post so this is becoming pointless. If a guy off the street AND every other company can beat these prices rsc needs to look at why they have no better options. Again they have no control on their shipping rates. That is the carrier’s who set that. Someone walking off the street to the PO/UPS/FEDEX/DHL isn’t paying for a premium service. So they have cheaper rates. We don’t know what kind of volume the other companies have compared to RSC so their rates will be different depending on what the carrier sets their accounts up as. And although you didn’t say this for the custom fees I have seen people say they wish RSC would mark the form as gifts or make it a lower value than what is was. That’s fraud for them to do that and they aren’t going to risk their business doing something illegal. As for combining shipping that’s probably not something RSC can do. Maybe their system isn’t set to handle combining shipping charges on multiple orders because we have paid for everything upfront when we placed an order. So it’s possible it isn’t capable of combining multiple orders place into one order? Or more than likely they don’t have the facility space to hold onto orders in a “pile of loot” type service like other sites do.

Y’all need to move to America. It’s your best option at this point. Just please go to California.
