Who do you guys want to be the first to hold the belt upon it’s return?
Personally, Sheamus has been a major standout of 2022-2023 and he fully deserves one more major title run and I can see him winning it.
Ideally though I’d want LA Knight. Capitalize on his sudden and utterly random rise in popularity and strap the title on him ASAP

Imagine being champion for 3 years only for the company to create a new belt for the boys to fight over which basically makes his reign an afterthought. Even when he does finally lose it will not have the same feel because he's no longer the only top champ. All those years of dominance for nothing. |

I'm kind of mixed on a new title. It comes off as a consolation prize rather than a top championship. The upper card have been limited for the last couple of years because of Roman so this will at least allow them to hit that main event spot. I would have liked to see a scenario where Roman is in a multi person match where the first person to get a pin gets the Universal Championship and the second gets the WWE Championship. That way he can avoid being pinned while still keeping a title.
Roman is due to hit 1000 days at Night Of Champions with a possible loss at Summerslam in August. With this new title, they can keep Roman as champion for a lot longer if they want to. If they do decide to give Cody the championship, I'm hoping they don't give him the new one.

I don't know how I feel about the belt design yet, I think they should have just waited for Cody to beat Roman and revealed it night after Summerslam.

I love the idea of a 2nd champion. I don't think it hurts Roman's title since they're going to keep the brands separate. It just gives Raw (hopefully) more to work with.

Kinda like the new design and think it does a good job of combining traditional and modern designs. With society firmly entrenched in an era in which instant brand recognition is vital, there was bound to be big WWE logo front and center on any new belt. Personally, I think the new design works perfectly in that regard while still paying tribute to one of the most iconic championship designs in history.
As far as what it means to Roman's lengthey reign as champion. See a lot of people saying in tarnished it and frankly, I don't see that at all. If anything, debuting a new Top title now is kind of an insult to everyone but Roman. Like say "okay, so Roman Reigns is the greatest human being to ever walk the planet earth and no one will ever beat him, so here... you guys can fight over this instead". It's their own fault though. The titles should never have been combined and they painted themselves into a corner by doing so.
Hopefully, a second world championship means they take the draft and brand split seriously again and keep rosters separate outside of ples.

I wouldn’t say it hurts Reigns tbh since he was Universal Champion from around September 2020 & he didn’t win the WWE Title til April 2022.
His reign as Universal Champ is the much more impressive one.

I saw what the belt looks like on 🐦 and again looks like garbage but better than the last version. The belt has no eagle and the globe looks like cr@p and to me the last best belt was the undisputed WWE championship which was made by Joe Marshall.

Really clean, i like it. Only thing i'd change is honestly just making the main plate a tiny bit bigger, and maybe downsizing the centre 'W' a bit. I really like the Lion head down the bottom, and the tribute to the classic Big Gold with what looks like a Crown up the top above 'World'. Probably the best 'new' title/design they've done since Cody brought back the Classic IC in 2011.  |

So they stupidly put both of their major titles on one guy. But thanks to the infinite corner the company has made the guy, they can't get any of those belts off of him.
So the ANSWER:
Create/Bring back a WHOLE OTHER major championship.
I have always thought having 2 Championships was stupid.
But this is "jump the shark" territory. I can't take this seriously anymore.

The design is good, but as some say I wish the main plate was bigger. It's too small It shouldn't be the same size as the IC and US championships.
