Very interested to hear King Patrick Star's opinion, hope he comments on this thread. I like it enough to get the kids sized versions that WWEShop and Mattel will eventually make, as well as matching figure sized versions, for my display. Then again, I got the WWEShop's kids sized version of the 24/7 Championship Title Belt and that was complete $#!+. I don't like it enough to get an adult sized version. Then again, I have 4 versions of the Big Network Belt (both Jakks and both Wicked Cool Toys, but that's cause it was $100 each). I think the WWE United Kingdom Championship Title Belt is the best design of the Network Logo Era. As far as the storylines go, and who should be the first Champion, it should be Chris Jericho. In other words, I don't really give a $#!+. I haven't really paid attention religiously since the launch of the WWE Network, right before WrestleMania XXX. I am curious as to how they will handle Roman's reigns as WWE Champion and Universal Champion. Anyone notice it doesn't say Heavyweight on the new Belt?? |

It simply has to be Seth imo. If you don't want to instantly make it feel like a consolation prize, you have to put it on the one guy Reigns has never been able to beat. Have Seth win it in the main event in Saudi Arabia, let him go on a bit of a run and put on some killer matches while building up Balor to eventually take it off him.

It simply has to be Seth imo. If you don't want to instantly make it feel like a consolation prize, you have to put it on the one guy Reigns has never been able to beat. This is making a lot of sense, I’d have Seth win it & hold it til WM40... the guy deserves a long run as World Champ. |

Seth beats a newly turned heel Drew in the finals,while Cody gets knocked out earlier in the tournament with interference from Brock. How close is Night of Champions to SummerSlam? Probably not enough time in between for Rollins/Balor at SS,as a little throw back to their Universal title match and Finn takes it there. Be great if the first two or three champs be your veteran type guys like Seth to give it that big time feel then guys like GUNTHER and Riddle can pick it up after that. |

Death taxes and Rollins beats reigns.
If it goes to anyone else it's still just a secondary title and not as important as the goofy looking belts roman is carrying around.

As far as Im concerned Roman has the second and third ranked belts. This one is a million times better looking, he can keep his giant red and blue stickers. They look like figure belts I would've made from crushed beer bottle caps when I was a kid. All they did by creating a new title was give me a champion to care about more than Roman effectively lessening him as a whole in my eyes. The more I get to see a world champion on weekly television, the more I'll be forgetting about Roman's reign of defending his titles at every other PPV.

The first person to win the belt is irrelevant if not only the win booked correctly but also the title run. You can give Rollins the title but if his first feud with it is with The Miz, its going to be a glorified mid card title in interest level.

Did I hear it right that Raw and Smackdown guys will be in the tournament to crown the champ, if so why is Smackdown wrestlers competing for it? That already defeats the purpose of the draft,hope I misunderstood it or they got it wrong

From that list the most obvious choice to be the 1st champion would be Rollins,again Cody is by far the biggest star but feel his 1st world title reign has to come after beating Reigns for the title.In the mean time he could get a run with the IC Title again.
