Glad I got him, but I won't be opening it. Not even the outer brown cardboard shipper box. (This was not my original plan)

After watching video reviews of this figure, I prefer that AEW Supreme one better and I don't even have that in my collection, speaking of the Supreme figure I prefer the Walmart but I wish I had a Walmart near me to get one.

They’ve already shown the Logan Paul prototype and it looks really good tho He doesn’t deserve a figure that looks that good And do you think the mass produced (ok, not that massed) version will look just like that? Or, like Cody's jacket on the grey model, will people get something different in the end? Well unless Mattel suddenly turns into Jakks and production figures start changing from how physical prototypes look (beyond this one Cody jacket), I think the Logan Paul will be fine. They figure they showed in-hand looked really good

Woof! Whole host of issues with this…at no point should a Jazwares figure be better than a Mattel ultimate. Supremes cost more so they really should be but I get your point Didn’t actually know that but whatever the cost, Jazwares figures suck - for them to get one over Mattel here is embarrassing.

I really do understand anyone's gripe with this Cody fig. The figure going out in the mail is far off from the photo we preordered. Objectively it looks so different side-by-side. The delivery of the torso on the final product even looks nothing like it does in the render. The colors have no comparison. If you look closely at the tights deco, detail was cut and different deco was stretched out to fill the space of on the crotch piece. I'm not going to be in the "I'm canceling my $45 figure now worth $200" boat but I much prefer the Elite 101 to this. And I'm someone who really loves the Ultimate line. Thanks for the side by side, I can't believe they whiffed so hard on the colors and forgot knee pads on this PREMIUM figure. Mattel is starting to go down that Jakks road and its scary.

He's technically not supposed to have kneepads, since he wears them underneath the tights. In a perfect world he would have had newly sculpted knees, but it's understandably not cost effective for Mattel

Seeing the render and the final product side by side absolutely breaks my heart. It’s mind blowing. And we had to pay even more to get this thing. it also looks like the boots are swapped compared to the render.

Influencers getting these joints early for what? They’re no longer even for sale. Meanwhile there’s no official word as to when we get ours

Supremes cost more so they really should be but I get your point wasn’t this one 45? Again that means nothing. Regardless what people are thinking it’s not a “premium” figure. It’s still meant to be a regular UE figure. The price is higher because the production cost is higher because it’s a limited run. This Cody isn’t produced in the same numbers as any standard mass retail UE. So to make it the production cost is higher. It doesn’t mean that the budget to make the figure will be greater. He's technically not supposed to have kneepads, since he wears them underneath the tights. In a perfect world he would have had newly sculpted knees, but it's understandably not cost effective for Mattel After seeing how often Jazwares make unique parts for people, including Cody, that line is just a cop out excuse to me Other than heads what new parts has Jazwares made since the initial Superme parts? I haven’t seen any new parts on their Unmatched or Unrivaled figures In ages.

Idk man.. if you read all the descriptions of regular ultimate boxes they’re supposed to be the “ultimate wrestling action figure” And it’s definitely their premium line

There’s the boots used on all his Unmatched/Unrivaled and the Supreme? I just looked at all my Cody’s and I have them all minus his first two chase figures. And they’re all the same two boots. Again that means nothing. Regardless what people are thinking it’s not a “premium” figure. It’s still meant to be a regular UE figure. And this Cody would fit in with the regular UE’s. This is basically just like a RSC Exclusive. Which is basically a limited figure that could be released as a standard Elite/UE. The only reason it costs more is because it’s made in lesser quantities than your standard figures.

Just accept that PJ loves this figure and move on I don’t love the figure. I just new this was what it was going to be. But looking at the render it showed the bare leg mold even though they have tights leg molds it’s only been used a few times on the UE’s. (SDCC Sarge, UE Edge, CC Rude and Roberts) all the other UE’s in tights have been the bare legs molded in the tights color. So I knew I wasn’t getting the proper legs. I also knew it would come with the crappy weight belt they’ve used on Hogan, Cody and others in the past. (I have the Jazwares on my E101 and planned to do the same with this one) And I hate that it has the drop down hips. (I was hoping this figure wouldn’t have them because it was announce before they started using them) And when this figure was announced they had just started using the butterfly joints. I knew it wouldn’t look like the render, because they never do. And I knew it wouldn’t be the UE 5(?) HBK torso, because it didn’t have the butterfly joints and they didn’t have an updated one with them in their parts library. But the Amazon one did so I imagined that would be the torso he got because he should be as larger as HBK. But he was also larger at this WM match than he is now so I don’t have an issue with that torso on this figure. So while I am not happy with the lower body parts selection and belt it is what I expected when I ordered the figure. As a fan of Cody’s I am glad I have it coming, but I do wish he didn’t have drop down hips. And he had the proper leg mold, a new weight belt and proper gold. But other than maybe the gold color of the tights and drop down hips it is what I expected. I am glad that it’s taller than his E101 figure which I feel is undersized. But it just like the DM GAB ‘90 Sting you mentioned yesterday. Yes I love the figure for what it represents and it was a figure I had wanted since watching the PPV. I’ve customized one in every wrestling figure line I’ve collected since that event so to have one was a dream come true. But I have been very vocal about the parts used on that (and all Surfer Sting) figures. The scan I could live with because I knew the expression they were going for with it. But the torso should have been Austin’s. The arms should have been the ones used on the e19 Ziggler/e21(?) Rhodes. The thighs should have been the E30 Hawk ones or the e19 Ziggler ones. (I’ve max custom Sting figures using both) With the GAB ‘90 sting calves and boots. But I still love what we got because it’s an official figure of one of my favorite wrestlers that represents my All-Time favorite match.

Instead of wasting budget on packaging they would have atleast sculpted a belt for this figure and new knees so that future releases all have corrected belt and knees.
