Rodman. His peak was 1996-98 and Kyle’s grandpa would have been 69-71 years old. People HATED Rodman because of both basketball and his extra curricular activities. Fits Mattel’s Monday Night Wars push as well.

Ali would be an absolutely boring choice and an easy pass for me.
I was intrigued though at the suggestion of Lawrence Taylor, Mike Tyson or Dennis Rodman though.

My buddy at the toy shop just text me and said given the clues he's thinking Ali and Vince. This would be Vince's first ultimate too right? Was Vince ever on camera at all at WM1? I don’t recall him there at all. Jesse and Gorilla did commentary and Mean Gene and Lord Alfred did backstage interviews. I can see ref Ali and Piper in the Panther shirt. I think that panther shirt is copyrighted. But you can pick up a quality one from a 3rd party easily. |

After reading Kyle’s comments, it has to be Ali.
I don’t see them making Liberace, and Gorgeous George no longer has the crossover appeal he once did.

The only thing that would get me to buy in is if we got WM1 referee Ali. That would solely be to fill the void of a Golden Era referee.

Ali fought Inoki in a highly publicized match. He also had an altercation with Gorilla in the ring. Plus he was the outside ref at WM1. He was a huge wrestling fan and took a lot of inspiration from Gorgeous George. |

I would say they go for mass appeal on these things snd outside the states LT is a “who?”
Ali has universal appeal outside boxing or wrestling, he’s a cultural phenomenon who everyone knows young and old

Kyle here. I’ll give a better clue my grandpa is 96. My grandpa knows nothing of wrestling and men like him hated this guy for a controversial reason at the time. If this figure is not San Diego, con, it will be interesting to see what else it would possibly be for. This will have crossover appeal no doubt about it. Personally I would love Lawler Kaufman, 100 times more and it’s not Iron Mike. Love your content Kyle, for my money you make the best figure reviews on YouTube. Based on this comment i'd bet it's either Jesse Ventura or WM 1 Muhammad Ali. |
