No from me to him being anywhere near Austin in any wrestling capacity. If Hogan truly feels the need to come throw his back out one last time, let him face someone who can carry the match and take the bumps but who's also a big enough name to mean something as his official last match.

Yep that’s exactly how it should be

I would love to see Hulk Hogan be the one to topple Roman Reigns and win the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship!!
Then in a return favour of sorts, have Kevin Nash come out the next night on Raw, and finger poke Hogan, thus winning the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship from Hulk Hogan.

“Teases” What a ing buffoon this guy. Have him face Lashley and have Lashley dominate and finish with the Hurt Lock in 2 minutes. There, you’re retired Terry.

Would love it. But I’d rather see Otise defeat Roman and then Hulkster slams the giant Otise. 1-2-3 new champ

I thought he was paralysed. Only thing paralyzed is Steve Austin’s scrawny little neck after he eats a leg drop from the one and only Hulk Hogan brother 💪🏼

Several people at work today mentioned this to me because it came across their feed on twitter and remarked how they might have to tune in one more time to see Hogan have his last match. The Icon, The Legend, The Biggest Star the business ever saw. He freaking deserves it. I've already asked my girlfriend if she would buy me tickets if Hogan has his last match at Wrestlemania. The reaction he got at Raw in Philly, can you imagine the pop when that Real American hits for the last time in Philly!!!

Nope, no thanks. Hogan definitely deserves a retirement match, but keep him away from Stone Cold Steve Austin when he's shown he can actually have a good match at his age and physical condition.
Let Hogan hulk up after a minute and hit a leg drop and be done. Don't know who'd be top candidate for that, but not Austin.

I've been asking and hoping for a reti match in WWE for a decade now.I don't care if he'll be 70,80 or 90 years old or what shape he's in he has to have one.No way can his final match be some random six man match at a TNA house show.
Have it be a tag team or six man match with Hogan working for like ten minutes take and giving safe bumps.I am think with the current landscape and possible storylines Hogan/Rhodes Vs Reigns/Solo.Could be a massive match and help build to Rhodes/Reigns II at WM XL.

You're just making things up. He got a massive reaction in philly when some on here even said he would be booed out of the building. His merchandise is some of the best selling on wweshop right now. You guys can hate all you want but he has millions of fans and is the greatest of all time. There's nothing you can do to change that. His retirement match would be one of the biggest selling points of Mania and one of the biggest things in wrestling for years.

I just watched a live crowd reaction and it definitely doesn’t sound like much of a reaction. The actual aired video sounds like an initial pop followed by booing. Not hearing a massive reaction in either.

Let them do a cinematic match I honestly don't know why this isn't done more often for older talent or talent with nagging injuries. Just film it in a movie/television fashion and air it after. They already use 138 different camera cuts/angles per match so might as well take the time to make a really good looking match. Ready to Rumble, The Wrestler, Heels and GLOW have all proved it possible to varying degrees of quality and success. They have the money to do it. No reason for it to look like a corny 2008 WWE studios film either.
