I feel like I know the answer to this, but do you think time spent in a retail store is quality time? Online shopping is so you don't have to waste your day at a Target. The magic of toy shopping is still special to a lot of people. Exactly, the thrill of the hunt can't be replicated with scoring figs online.

Shopping is not a magical process to me, and I have to question what you guys do with your spare time that it is for you. Like, I'm not an 8-year-old going to TRU with my allowance. I'm not in some Californian mall out of an 80s teen movie where everyone at the food court has limitless dreams. It's a Wal-Mart, there are like 3 employees on the floor and one of them's swerving a squeaky pallet jack down the main aisle. Half the shelves are empty and I'm pretty sure they're cooking meth in housewares. This is not a retrowave fantasy.

You have to question what we do with our spare time that we enjoy going to the store to get products locally instead of waiting on the post office or UPS? Thats a tad odd. Also odd you can't grasp the idea of looking at the toy department while running other errands like grabbing groceries or other products that are easier to pick up on your ride home rather than get delivered. Toy hunting isn't for everyone I suppose and if you get all yours online more power to you, idk why you want to slam others lifestyles for enjoying doing it the old fashioned way.

I mean, I'm not waiting around for postal delivery. That's my point, that it's a non-expenditure of time. I'm doing other things and postal delivery shows up when it shows up. I'm not Calvin sitting on the stoop and waiting for my helicopter beanie.
I do check the toy department when I'm there for other things, but it's not a magical experience for me. It's a couple minutes spent in another department in a store. I agree, that would theoretically be easier if the products were ever there and if I was regularly in Wal-Mart for groceries, but they're not and I'm not.
