I really believed it in 1991 and was convinced that Texas Tornado had a legit shot at winning the thing! Ah, to be young and belive again lol. I genuinely thought 100% that Sid was gonna walk into the RR92 and dominate as well. In my own RR92 with Hasbro's which was probably in 93(LOL) he dominated HARD i thought sid would win as well. was hoping it was him or piper to win it

Hogan winning in 89 made way more sense than in 90 that's for sure. Perfect and Warrior both needed that 90 rub far more than Hogan. perfect, warrior, rude, or andre even woulda been cool to see win it 90 same with 1991, i was wanted to see perfect or earthquake get the win

did anyone here think when the wwf anounced that the winner of the 1992 royal rumble was going to be the wwf champion that in 1993 the royal rumble winner was going to get wrestlemania title shot?

The strangest part of this entire Rumble for me was DiBiases reaction to a decent draw. If we are to believe he bought #30 from Slick logic would say one of the Towers had 30 and a swap was made allowing tge Towers to come in B2B which was somewhere in the late teens i believe. DiBiase reacted like he drew #1 or #2.
Slick being questioned about it and confusing TED DiBiase with his shoe shiner Ted was pretty hysterical though I admit that.

I still love Jesse ripping on Hogan for being a poor sport by pulling Boss Man out and fighting em to the back
Plus the line about how long Hogan was in there...''Gorilla- The Hulkster has been out there for an half hour. Jesse-he has not he got out there about 5 mins ago''
