Yeah I got that rvd off ebay this morning. Since all my Wal marts were shut down in Portland thanks to theft and vandalism Did they get shut down from theft and vandalism? Or did they actually get shut down from a combination of over-saturation and unionization? Because Walgreens in San Fransisco claimed the same thing and then it turned out they were lying and that they were closing up a bunch of stores because they over-saturated the city and there were threats of unionization and that theft wasn’t actually much of an issue at all. But of course the same media outlets that ran the stories about Walgreens claiming it was closing up due to theft never ran the story about Walgreens making it all up. Because Walgreens in San Fransisco claimed the same thing and then it turned out they were lying and that they were closing up a bunch of stores because they over-saturated the city and there were threats of unionization and that theft wasn’t actually much of an issue at all. You're acting like one of those FB fact checkers that can't see the forest for the trees. Of course Walmart isn't going to say it's due to theft and crime because saying that now is offensive to people who steal, lol. Portland is the largest city in Oregon, and the 28th largest city in the United States, but it couldn't financially sustain a few Walmarts? Gtfo 🤣 |

I did! Because Walgreens said the same thing and it turned out they were lying. But news organizations at the time reported on it without digging in any further. From CNN to Fox News. My point was that the CEO of Walmart could also be lying to deflect blame for eliminating jobs because it’s the exact thing that Wallgreens did. He might also be telling the truth, although I think it’s weird for a major corporation to pull out of a city over shrink because you’d have to have an ungodly amount of shrink to justify shutting down completely. Glad the $0 charges have (mostly) been reversed. Now we can look forward to just getting our Walmart orders cancelled like normal!
