I think all these choices feel like a bit of a mash up…putting a Hogan with a new title behind a paywall feels weird, Rocky choice is very strange going with a re-release debut look rather than a more iconic time period of either The Rock’s career or the business itself, surely this was supposed to be in the Greatest Hits line. Austin is fine I guess and Becky I don’t have thoughts on either way. It feels like they either had a promised 4 pack for Walmart and ran out of ideas…or something changed last minute with talent that was supposed to be in the 4 pack and they’ve had to replace last minute.
I agree. It isn't just Becky who stands out. The entire assortment is strange: Hogan with his first WWF championship Austin's retirement match at WM38 Rock in unpopular rookie attire Lynch, another figure from WM38, in attire from a match she lost I wish Mattel would have released this as a special edition wave instead of a boxset. I only want Becky out of the pack. |

You finally said what no one else would: The truth... and the fact Sable isn't under a Legends deal. I would take Becky over Sable any day of the week. Plus like I said earlier in this post. The WWE is high on Becky. She’s featured in the Then, Now Forever video they show at the start of every television show. And she is the only modern name they feature during the Raw information on the cable channel guide. If anything they should have replaced the Rocky Miavia figure for an Undertaker. As he and Austin are mentioned with Becky in the program listing.  That said it’s an easy pass for me, because I only want the Hogan. Already have that version of Miavia and I like the HOF Austin’s more. And Becky I am not a fan of that attire so $80 for just wanting the Hogan is way more than I’m willing to spend. Damn. RAW is 3 hours and 10 minutes? That’s about 3 hours too much. Hate to sound like a geezer, but you young bucks missed out on the good ole days when you’d get just enough ‘rasslin and then be able to get some real pleasure with Silk Stalkings or La Femme Nikita. Just the intro to Silk Stalkings would have even Mr. Tusk blush. |

Silk Stalkings still air reruns on one of the channels here. I forget what channel and day but I did set it to record for my wife as she was a fan of that show back in the day. But she wasn’t watching them so I canceled the recording. |

It’s so easy to mix up these re-releases with a subtle color change. They did it with Bruno. Why not everyone else? Funk could’ve had the the grey and white tights, Bulldog all blue, Rocky in the black like you mentioned. Cmon now, Steve. I know you got me blocked, but cmon. |

I get that some figures need to be re-released, especially if they were really desired figures in that particular attire and they had a horrible distribution the first time around to the point where a lot of people missed out, but it shouldn't be done for all figures. Or if there was a flaw in the first release, I can understand re-releasing it. Most wrestlers had subtle differences in their attires that they should just release a similar version, not the exact same one, like the Rocky Maivia in black. They could have done the same for their recent Big John Studd, put the red stars on the tights instead of doing the blue stars again. Same with their upcoming re-release of the Retrofest Honky Tonk Man, re-releasing the same jumpsuit is fine but instead of doing the light blue tights again, they could have done Honky Tonk Man in the black tights with blue details on the tights. And with the upcoming re-release of the TNF Natural Disasters, Typhoon and Earthquake had a few different ring attires, they could have done one of the other looks instead of the same ones from their first release. |

SCSA looks great besides the chicken legs. Such a shame all of his figures are hindered by that unless it’s stunning Steve
Oh and the hip joints are different so it’s not an easy swap
