If they had included ddp in the base offering. I saw the Jurassic set now included 2 tier with the offering and it still won't succeed. So are the crowd funders just doa for Mattel ?

The figs they picked sucked. Better fig selection would've funded it for sure, and realistic tier goals

They did it backwards. Should've went with raw stage first, than wcw. The raw ring came out first, so a raw stage should've followed it.

Outside of MOTU, Mattel doesn’t have any brands worthy of trying to do a crowdfund. There’s not a product that they can offer that will get the community excited. With GI Joe the vehicles alone are enough. With Star Wars the spaceships get their fanbase motivated. MOTU fans will support big play sets. Marvel collectors will buy every giant character they offer. WWE fans primarily care about the figures. The Nitro stage should’ve alone been enough but it clearly wasn’t. If you don’t have a product that alone gets people excited and you have to rely on throwing in several top big name highly requested figures to get people to even consider backing it then you shouldn’t be doing a crowdfunding campaign.

I don't think so. As I've said in a few threads here, I think the bigger issue is about the basis upon which most wrestling collectors build their collections combined with the price point. I don't think Raw stage or Smackdown fist would have succeeded either.

I think international buyers would have pushed it over the top but the cost for them was just too much after all the extra fees

And there’s nothing really else they can do that would require a crowdfund other than maybe Ultimate Scale Elimination Chamber.
