WCW is tough since it died before most fans now were even born. The only way I see any WCW stage surviving is if it’s the Halloween Havoc or Bash at the Beach entrance.
If they did the 98 Bash at the Beach stage with 96 debut UE Outsiders included….and added a jeans DDP at tier 1 with someone like Karl Malone or Rodman tier 2…..it would have easily gotten to 5k
OR Mattel could have just made it easy on themselves and did the Smackdown Fist stage with the UE Lesnar they are releasing now, a UE Angle (bald) , and a 02 Edge it would have easily hit 10k

Didn't they say you had a few display options so it depth was less and would take up slightly less room? What if they did that with Steiner with no stage lights for $200 or $250 with stage lights. Seeing as most agree that 250 is the sweet spot for price. Then have the added parts to make the stage bigger on Mattel Creations to purchase separately. Not ideal but we might have a stage funded.

I'm just finding it interesting, stage failed and now Jurassic gate is failing despite them throwing 2 tier items at it. It sucks we won't get ddp or Scott Steiner UE at least for the foreseeable future. Or ever in that style. I think crowd funding for not work for Mattel should focus on the creations section and give fans a choice between 2-3 characters. Or even the choose the pink attire concept. Let people choose what attire they want there figure in.

Haslabs puts something out for $400 with a goal of 6000 and it hits almost on day 1. Mattel can’t even get the first goal to 80% before the last day. |

It’s that the GI Joe line is more suitable for crowdfunds. Vehicles and playsets are just as iconic and nostalgic as the figures are their fanbase are willing to support these projects regardless what accompanies it. WWE collectors primarily want figures. They see stuff like the Raw and Nitro stages and think they want it but they don’t want to pay what it costs to get it. They’re take it or leave it pieces, not must haves. To make it a must have the pot needs to be sweetened with multiple desirable figures and even then that’s not always enough. |

For me personally, I didn't want to spend that kind of money and NOT get DDP.
I didn't need a Hogan or Warrior either. Had it been someone like Luger & Booker T, I might have pounced.
