So WM18 will always go down as one of the best ever but is there anything you would change about it looking back?
I'd say the main event of HHH & Jericho has gotta go tbh, I'd still have em feud after WM18 but man that main event was lame lol... I know Hogan/Rock destroyed the crowd but it still was a big letdown.
I'd have Austin vs HHH in the main event for the Undisputed Title or I'd keep everything the same but let Hogan vs Rock main event... maybe HHH vs Jericho vs Austin? Throw Angle in there to make it a 4 Way?

I rewrote this main event long time ago
That all the main stars in that era would collide it’s fantasy but
HHH’s return to have heated program with Angle and Stephanie/Angle affair angle would lead to Angle defeating HHH and stealing his spot for Mania title at NWO 02
McMahon wants to push Angle to the stratosphere and considers him his son in law and savior of the WWF
Jericho is still undisputed champion and is running from Rock/Austin and finding ways to undermine and defeat them with Rock-Austin’s issues also intertwined
Triple Threat where Jericho retains against Angle/Rock in the midst of “the real invasion”
We weren’t really going to go to far with NWO 2002 but for one hit wonder they destroy triple threat match and massacre all three of them; Jericho rolls in and gets the cover on a down and out Austin
The next night Jericho-Angle have contract signing for WM 18 that’s crashed and destroyed by Triple H,Austin, Rock who put they’re differences aside only to be savagely attacked and man handled by the NWO
McMahon loses control as his worst nightmare has came and Hogan vows McMahon can’t survive this one
Then the fact Rock-Austin-HHH with storied pasts are willing to put differences aside for a true WM 18 main event makes McMahon fear this combustible but unholy union
With NWO Hijacking SmackDown to make McMahon give in, HHH is out to make Angle pay, with Jericho and angle making pact to take HHH out and Austin / Rocks history
Things are rapidly melting away
Finally McMahon gives into the pressure
6 man Hell in a Cell for the Undisputed Championship
Triple H can have triumph moment, maybe swerve with Jericho etc etc
It’s ceramonial end of Monday Night Wars match

Folks need to understand that HHH vs Jericho didn't fail because of the crowd being "burnt out"..it failed because of the booking of Jericho on the way to WM18. It wouldn't have mattered where that match was...Jericho was presented as a guy lucky to be in that position and Steph's manservant. The feud was HHH vs Steph featuring comedy heel Jericho.
As for the nWo? there were limited options. HHH had vetoed involvement with his good buddies from the sidelines while he was still recovering. Undertaker turned heel & went down the card because he didnt want anything to do with them. Austin was hugely suspicious & troublesome at this point but was still the most over guy on the roster.
Vince's dream of his top guys squaring off against the nWo quickly went to sh*t.
Austin winning the RR again would have been repetitive BUT it was what the crowd wanted. The air got sucked out of the room when he went out. WWF wanted a HHH programme going into WM & Jericho was champ and that's ok but to make it effin work? Jericho should have presented much more seriously. It would have benefited HHH too because as much as folks don't like it? he wasn't as over as Austin or Rock as a face. A strong heel Jericho and Angle beating HHH down and him having to constantly buck the odds might have rallied the crowd more. Then Vince puts Angle in the ME to make sure one of his guys wins the strap does that even moreso.

Hardys Vs Dudleys
Booker T Vs Edge
Undertaker Vs Ric Flair
RVD Vs Regal Vs Christian Vs DDP
Trish Vs Lita
I wouldn't have done a Hardcorer Title match - but I would have done all the title changes

A face HHH winning the Royal Rumble and going to WM was difference and a nice change.
Austin winning another Rumble would've been lame af. I like Austin but I breathed a sigh of relief when he was eliminated.
