I came across a post of the Dudleys signing a WWE legends deal and on that post Music City Toys and Collectibles posted that Sandman had also recently signed a deal as WWE is gearing up for Mania in Philly.
Does anyone know if this is true? If so, we may about to be in ECW heaven with other potential signings

I don’t see Tommy Dreamer ever happening, but it would be nice to have some new faces in the Legends line.

Pretty much any of the ECW originals will be instant buys for me. If they did in fact sign the Dudleyz, I really hope Mattel doesn't mess around and pushes out an ECW or Attitude Era version as quick as possible.

Would be an instant buy. With the rumblings of the Dudley Boyz also signing a deal I'd hope they'd be able to sign other ECW Originals.

Balls Mahoney
Tajiri
Just give me a bunch of ECW Originals and I'll be happy.

It’s looking more and more like there may be a correlation in the card deals with legend deals.

Looks like they pushed for more MNW and ECW era wrestlers. I wonder if they will be in the MNW line or if there will be an ECW line at another retailer. So if Stevie Richards and Ivory (rumored) are signed, then it looks like we might get RTC (C. Wright just resigned his deal too). I think Haku previously had a card and no figure release, but maybe that deal ended early/before Mattel could release one since he has been active in other promotions. I wonder how they will get out some of these older Legends - multipacks with other popular wrestlers, Legends line (some of these might kill it like Leilani Kai even though I would pick her up), Mattel creations, BAFs? If Terri Runnels is back under a deal, hopefully Steve is successful with pushing her out. I still hope that we can get some of the more popular FTIL golden era wrestlers left like Koko, Barbarian, Genius, Brooklyn Brawler and resigning people like Rick Martel, Jim Duggan, Marty, Crush, Demo, LOD, etc. |
