Another one I wish Mitch would do as far as existing talents he's done, Jean Pierre Lafeet. Easily would be a hit if done right.

Got my order, really pleased! Can't wait for what the future holds for this line, and hope this same level of quality is the new standard. the belts are a nice touch 👍🏻

Like it, but something about the deco seems a little off? Or is it just me? Hopefully this isn't final and he tweaks it a little. But, maybe he can't really go any more intricate on the star designs due to the size/scale issues?

That's true, maybe the stars can't be any smaller though? Also think the red/white striping on the trunks is a little off and needs more angles. And shade of blue is a bit off, but it's just a rendering. Also, though it does look like a Hasbro in general, I can't really picture what the action would be. Certainly looks like it would fit a jumper design, which I wouldn't mind these companies throwing in a few of sometimes. Guess maybe you could say a wind up punch or something. I do think Mitch has been good on most releases of putting a moch up action blurb on each card, maybe not all, but I specifically remember seeing it on the Meros I just opened.

Solid Macho but its a pass for me. Mitch and Zombie have shown 3 Macho's and no one has done the most wanted one with long tights Macho King. Curious as to why they haven't done the most wanted first

You shouldnt be. No company does the most wanted first. Surprisingly people don't seem to pick up on it or understand why

I know Epic are not in favour of doing variants any more unless they can justify the need for two designs (e.g. Bobby Heenan is going to have two looks, but they're not a straight repaint either)
but G+G have clearly got a business model to milk consumers dry with variant paint jobs, without actually offering much in the way of differentiating the figures
a straight repaint for the same price as the original is just taking the piss really

Curious as to why they haven't done the most wanted first I'd actually argue that WM7 that Zombie is doing is pretty tippy-top for alot of people. But, at the same time I don't like his design, so I don't know if I'll get it even. Kinda wish Mitch would make that version too.

No one has to buy the repaint if they don’t want to. But to make them less expensive? Nah, that’s silly. I’ve turned around on my stance with smaller companies doing repaints and variants. They have these wrestlers signed for a limited time, have minimum quantities to meet, and it clogs the line of NEW figures to go back and remake a figure you already produced just to change the color scheme. So while it might bug us in a weird way to see so many versions of the same figure, at least now they are mostly being made available all at once instead of what we saw with Men on a Mission. I get not being thrilled over that one. It was such a popular item that Mitch would have been insane not to make more. Not making them gold from the beginning is where a lot of the heat comes from and I still think that was the wrong move personally…but the other releases had different color schemes and skin tones. It’s not like we didn’t see Hasbro do similar things: We had Macho King followed up by Macho Man with the most minimal of differences. Tatankas were identical I believe. Smash was almost completely the same. HBK and Razor had variants. Don’t get me started on the Bushwhackers or Marty Jannetty’s second head!

I think he was saying britishbrickfan mostly comes to threads to trash the figures or the companies or both. It definitely happens a lot but not to the level where he is a troll like Roy Alrumblay AKA misterfigi aka Moffit aka other names. I responded to BBF because the repaints were worth discussing (the jab at Mitch was unnecessary and needs to stop).

I understand needing to do repaints in various gear to meet your production numbers and all that but I just wish they were the same price as the base figure.
