It isn't necessary to add anchors to every 2 pack. People buying these are hard core golden era fans. They could add the red rooster and one of the bushwackers and they will still sell. Most important is the likeness and choosing the best outfit for each wrestler. I would like to see a dusty Rhodes and sherrie 2 pack. Or a zeus and the million dollar man. I wonder about that, myself. I’d also think these are for the hardcore collectors and that those who buy these are probably more likely all-in regardless of anchors. But Steve has brought up “anchors” for the line several times on here and other interviews. Also Steve has stated this line will only include those that had an ljn. Dusty, sherri and zeus wouldn't qualify |

If they got Marty Jannette back, they could do the Rockers with he and Shawn Michaels.

If they got Marty Jannette back, they could do the Rockers with he and Shawn Michaels. The Rockers never had LJN figures released, they did get Habro figures though which I would hope is the next idea from Mattel after the Coliseum Collection gets wrapped up. |

Shame because it's definitely one of my favorites I have the same feeling which is why I mentioned changing the price point for single packs so the price is more reasonable. Looking at ebay sold listing for the figures they aren't moving even at retail price. They shouldn't cost 35$ each. |

Think the line is fine.
Piper and George next up and is great!
Hart foundation is amazing (Bret’s scans always suck lol)
What I consider A listers remaining:
Yellow Hogan (signed) + anyone sells
Andre (signed) + BtBH sells
Warrior (signed) + anyone sells
Macho (likely getable soon) + Liz sells
Vince (who knows, but he likes money) + anyone sells
Could then start pairing off lower level talent but making strong series.
M$M and HTM sells
Big boss man and BBB sells
I’ve just given 9 sets - without thinking, Im sure the line is fine.

I could have sworn he said that about guys like Demolition Smash, POP's Barbarian, Haku, Bushwhackers, etc. who were supposed to get LJN figures, but didn't because the line ended. |

Why would Dusty and Sherri be together? Wouldn't Sapphire make more sense? I do like the pairing of Ted and Zeus, but I doubt that Zeus would get a figure in this line, at least not in the beginning. |

I don't really care about anchors, I can understand it from a selling point for Mattel, but I don't need one. I'd be fine with pairings that match like a Big Boss Man and One Man Gang (or Akeem or Slick), a Strike Force set with Tito and Martel, a set with JYD and King Harley Race, Sheik and Volkoff, King Kong Bundy and Hillbilly Jim, Hercules and Billy Jack Haynes, etc.

I don't really care about anchors, I can understand it from a selling point for Mattel, but I don't need one.
