The one consistent theme of Coliseum Collection sets has been an anchor in each release: Hogan, Jake, Piper, and Bret. So, who are the realistic remaining anchors? I’m thinking Andre, Warrior, then maybe Hogan with yellow trunks. Next tier I’d think are HTM, DiBiase, and Shiek. Would they be considered anchors? I know the bottom line is do they sell well? What do you think? Any others too? Hoping this line can keep going deep and not need “anchors” to continue.

Savage would be one if they can get him signed again. People seem pretty excited to get Mr.Fuji but I don't know if he's really an anchor figure. You could probably call Dynamite Kid or Adrian Adonis anchor figures since they're FTITL but it's possible I just want them more than the average collector. I think JYD and Bundy could be anchors too but they don't have Bundy signed as far as I know

I think Steamboat might be on that second tier of anchor figures too, same with Davey Boy Smith if you don't consider Dynamite Kid the anchor figure with the bulldogs, the only problem is Davey figures are so easy to come by I feel like it's not as exciting as it should be.

King Kong Bundy with Hogan,Big John,Heenan or Hillbilly Jim Yeah, if/when Bundy comes back, that should be a big enough deal to count as an anchor. I’m guessing Zombie’s got him exclusively for a while at least. |

It isn't necessary to add anchors to every 2 pack. People buying these are hard core golden era fans. They could add the red rooster and one of the bushwackers and they will still sell. Most important is the likeness and choosing the best outfit for each wrestler. I would like to see a dusty Rhodes and sherrie 2 pack. Or a zeus and the million dollar man.

Its possible he could be with both companies, powertown might do a straight Midsouth release while WWE would do an older probably heavier version. I believe somebody on here said he was still signed and they did an elite about a year ago so I'd like to think they still have him. Hed 100 percent be an anchor figure for me but I could see Mattel packaging him with a bigger name like Savage |

I wonder about that, myself. I’d also think these are for the hardcore collectors and that those who buy these are probably more likely all-in regardless of anchors. But Steve has brought up “anchors” for the line several times on here and other interviews. |
