I think an Ultimate of Big Boss Man and Bam Bam Bigelow would both do gangbusters.
Jim Duggan would also be a big one, I’d imagine.

Think the line is fine. Piper and George next up and is great! Hart foundation is amazing (Bret’s scans always suck lol) What I consider A listers remaining: Yellow Hogan (signed) + anyone sells Andre (signed) + BtBH sells Warrior (signed) + anyone sells Macho (likely getable soon) + Liz sells Vince (who knows, but he likes money) + anyone sells Could then start pairing off lower level talent but making strong series. M$M and HTM sells Big boss man and BBB sells I’ve just given 9 sets - without thinking, Im sure the line is fine. Your optimism is impressive! I’m a glass half full kinda guy - most of the time.

Warrior-HTM Savage-Liz (when Savage is ultimately resigned) Andre-BJS Steamboat-Muraco (This would be the best place to debut a Hercules figure) DiBiase-Big Boss Man Race-JYD McMahon-Heenan and or Mean Gene Hogan-Hillbilly Jim Sammartino-Orndorff
When they dig into tag teams Sheik-Volkoff Valentine-Beefcake

Or Samartino or Orndorf? I don’t need Anchors in this line, would buy your suggested sets myself, but I’m thinking Mattel still does (and unfortunately the recent BOGO sales suggest sales haven’t been great).

At the pace they are beeing released we will all be underground before the original line is rereleased. I hope they can fix the pricing issue and release them in single packs. Having seen some of the headsculpts from other companies i must say i am dissapointed what we get from mattel for almost the same price. They need to step up their game.

Others are competing for legends figures, but Mattel’s Coliseum Collection is still far and above the best packaging, and so a masterpiece for MOC collectors like me. I agree with you about how frustratingly slow they are coming out though- especially when they are seemingly letting legends’ deals lapse in the meantime. Savage and JYD really need to be in this line.
