Wrestlemania Shane goes on this list for me just because I've bought more of that figure than any other just for the heads. It was the only TruFX flashback Shane we ever got. HATE the shirt on the figure, he wore a hockey jersey to that event, not a baseball jersey, but it gets an honorable mention just for the head. Football, not hockey. |

Same with the two pink trunk CM Punks. Cool figures, but inaccurate heads (the Macho one needed longer slicked back hair and the Bret one needed the Lemmy beard).
All of the first Nexus figure were also well done and exciting to get at the time.

This is not a top 5 Basic of all time, but...  Should have been an Elite. Should have included the vest. Should have sculpted the Infinity Stones on Seth's Infinity Boot. I'd like to see Seth wear an "Endgame Hulk" inspired attire, with the red "Nano Gauntlet" Boot.  |

I'll throw in the Entrance Greats Undertaker we got near the beginning of the line. To me that remains the best zombie Undertaker head sculpt, hair color, and skin tone we've gotten so far. They've reused the same mold, but the hair was too dark and skin too tan on the recent ones.

I really like the JJ Dillon BAF Ric Flair basic. Suited basics are great IMO. That Flair is on point. Too bad they couldn't give him gator shoes and a Rolex watch. |

They won't get many mentioned because they are not popular characters or legends, but 136 Xia Li and 101 Sara Logan are two really well done Basics. Hell, the use of metallic paint puts the Xia figure over a lot of Elites that should have, but didn't get, metallic paint.

We actually had a whole discussion on this awhile ago between me and a half dozen other members. It was a really weird shirt. The make and texture of it was like a hockey jersey but the sleeves were cropped off around the elbow. I thought it was a football jersey for a long time too but no, it's not the right texture, material, or cut. It's definitely some sort of short sleeved hockey jersey that he had tucked into his pants. The X-Punk shirt that he wore in the leadup to the match though, that was DEFINITELY a football jersey. |

All of the Hogan basics seem to be made better than others. His all have the extra articution and feel more solid. I always wondered if some were stashed in a warehouse when he was fired then were released in later lines when he came back.

I always wondered if some were stashed in a warehouse when he was fired then were released in later lines when he came back. Before he got fired they had many of them ready for release. For example the basic Hogan from WM38 series was supposed to be featured in an Ultimate Fan Pack. Many of them were even pulled straight from store shelves, mostly multipacks in which they replaced him with a different wrestler (in one case it was Ricky Steamboat, in another Andre The Giant). |
