Just got my Ultimate KO and Zayn this past Thursday. While I still really like the figures because of the new heads, the moment the figures represent, and just because it’s figures of KO and Zayn, they aren’t without their flaws. Outside of the height issue (Zayn looks giant next to Owens, even though irl Zayn is only an inch taller than Owens), and the missing logos they obviously couldn’t include due to copyright, the KO figure also has the dreaded PAINTED SKIN TONE on all of his hands, as opposed to previous figures of his where the hands were molded in skin color. I also noticed they didn’t paint the inside of the mouth for the open mouth smile heads for both Zayn and KO. They only painted their teeth… What copyrighted logos? The Super Dragon emblem on his right leg (should be next to the KO logo), and the gold PWG logo on top of the “FIGHT” emblem on his left leg. |

If you take into account the gorilla arms from his pre-swappable hands elites, it evens out.

My third UE Kevin arrived today and I *JUST* noticed that, on the back of the box, they have his hometown listed as Montreal.
.... Don't they almost always bill him from Marieville? I think I remember him being billed from Montreal before, but only when they were IN Montreal. I'll have to go back and listen to some of their entrances, I usually tune the commentary out.

The Super Dragon emblem on his right leg (should be next to the KO logo), and the gold PWG logo on top of the “FIGHT” emblem on his left leg. The PWG logo is also missing from Sami's left leg. It should be above the Arabic "ZAYN". The wild thing is that the original render for the basic HAD the PWG logo on Sami's leg, but either they never had clearance to use it, or the clearance to use it fell through between render and production. Even wilder, due to the final figure shipping and being in most people's hands before the final figure photos were released online, people who preordered the Basic 145 Sami only found out the PWG logo wasn't included when they saw the figures in person. And, in the next wave, they were shipping out the Basic 146 Kevin's before they even showed photos of him at all. People who preordered him blind also *received* him blind. Them actually bothering to show off photos of UE 21 a week before they shipped was a refreshing change of pace that I was running out of hope for. |

Just got the Monday night wars ultimates and these seem to be similar. Roddy piper is 6 foot and seems as tall as Zayn, and Brett Heart is also 6 foot and the same exact height as ultimate Kevin Owens

KO wears a singlet under his t-shirt (probably the same singlets he wore in the early days of his career), and part of his shoulders are visible. The torso that comes on the UE is basically entirely black except for the neck area, and it looks rather odd. I do have to ask though, does the George Steele torso fix his height at all? I thought about using that torso (using acetone to remove all the body hair) for my UE KO fix-up. |

First off never use acetone on a torso that leaves a slimy shine on the har plastic use clear nail polish, I'll explain more in a sec. As for the Steele torso working. It should. The doink torso is short and frumpy kinda like he's hunched in idk how else to explain it. As for the clear nail polish I have a video on my YouTube I'll attach here as well. But you just pain a small area at a time and about 5 seconds after you paint the torso you wipe the nail polish away with a rag and that'll remove the paint on a torso and not leave it looking all shiny and won't eat the torso. However you can use acetone on the butterflies but that's it. |

I just cancelled my preorder. I wasn't that annoyed at first but it's nothing to write home about. It doesn't feel very Ultimate-esque to me. I also was pissed that ringside pushed my preorder until June. All I wanted was Cody, and I picked him up at a local toy shop instead.

I’ve never used acetone on Elite torsos or crotch pieces, but I wasn’t sure if the same principle applied to Ultimate torsos. Imma have to get a Steele UE now and try out the torso switch with KO. |

Besides the height, that torso mold has a big gap. It's a sore eye without the tshirt.

That may be…..it’s the only Brett I own. Was just pointing out that Brett and KO are the same height in real life. Their figures are also the same height. So is KO really to short? |

Bringing this thread back to say.
For everyone in this thread who was so angry about how the UE Kevin was slightly too short, I'm expecting at least similar outrage about how they finally made a Kevin in something besides basketball shorts, and gave him John Cena legs that make him way way too TALL

That's what I'm going off of. Because ain't no way making a single Kevin Owens figure with correct height and deco is this difficult. I'm shouldering the blame of this one. They hate me so everyone else has to suffer. Sorry guys. |

I read all your posts, saw your pics, and still ordered this figure for $22 on Amazon. A slight tug on those drop down hips and the height is "fixed".
