Just now my Target had unopened cases of Hogan, Sultan, and Ali. I opened a Hogan case to try one of the aisles scanners. It says preorder unsellable. Then I tried a cashier to see if I could get through. Nope stopped there too. I got my preorders anyways and not worth cheating by scanning the lone Trish they have. Btw, my store will never put these out on Sunday. One time a Target lady laughed when I asked her to pull figures from the back on a Sunday street date. She was like, 'why do they street date these on Sunday?" I'd have said "that's your new ad day idiot if you won't do your job give me the scanner and I'll do it for you"

They shouldn't be putting these out before the street date; Register-locking them SHOULD help to prevent.......... employees from buying them up before they go out? ....and buying extra for their "friends".... Hmmm.... Unfortunately it doesnt, my local target had a swapped Yoko on shelf and they swapped it with Otis. Clearly the employees make up most of the swapping, people who stock the shelf are friends with the customer service people, so they allow these returns to happen. I see it all the time now lol

I didn’t see jack crapat the 3 Targets that I hit yesterday, just the usual stock of Legends 21 Hogan, Sheiky Baby, Trish and UE Warriors. Not sweating it though, they should be pretty easy to find if the past Legends series are any indication

Oof, after reading various reports on Facebook, I've decided I'm not even going to Target for these until 4/28; Various "collectors" posting some things that I'm finding downright obnoxious...
* I've seen people finding these at Target; numerous Targets putting them out before the street date and the registers aren't allowing them to sell; is there a reason Target staff completely disregards the street date?
* I've seen people find them, get DENIED at the register, then go back later and find a different way to pay for them.... I mean, C'MON Target, if something is brought to the register that CAN'T be sold - shouldn't they be removing that product from the floor?
* I've seen people scanning other Elites to pay for them - - now I got criticized a few weeks ago on here for opening a CASE off a pallet, but I wouldn't do THIS.... I think this is crossing a line...
* I've seen other people saying "F*** it, and take them for free (or at least advocating for it). Since it won't scan. Definitely unacceptable. That's THEFT.
* Someone (I think on here) reported a figure-swap ALREADY, on a figure that's street-dated and register-locked..... shame, shame. On everyone involved. Someone bought, swapped, and RETURNED a product that shouldn't even have been sold yet.
I want no part of any of this, I'll just wait until 4/28 and I'll make a Target run at 8am when they open.... and believe me, I'll be on here complaining when they're all gone because nobody could follow any sort of policy and wait until the "street date" to sell/buy these.
On the flip side, this is WAYYYY better than Walmart, where the stuff just never shows up in any store. At least Target's problem is that they're getting the stuff too early.

Ya know, I just bought a bunch of stuff and got his with a tax bill of $5700 bucks, so I'm kinda hoping they wait until the end of April to charge and ship haha.

The hope is that, even if not stocked, you can catch a nice enough employee to check the stockroom for you on Sunday morning. Of course, we’ll need to use to “catch more bees with honey than with vinegar” philosophy to get any chance of cooperation. Good luck, all!

Captain Lou is the main one that I want, and his "pre-order" was sold out by the time I found out it was up. Which is another BS topic, how the "F" do they sell out of these pre-orders so damn fast? And BTW, I had checked two Targets last week, and they had zero figures. None. So I doubt I'd even be able to FIND another Elite to scan, if that's what I was going to do (which I'm not). PLUS, both Targets I was at had closed self-checkout and gone back to live cashiers.

On one hand, them putting product out weeks before you can actually buy it seems a bit silly. On the other hand, doing this means that when April 28th arrives, you can show up to target at store open, slide in, and grab whatever you want provided there aren't a dozen people faster than you doing the same thing. I am here to kick ass and chew bubble gum in my nike runners.

If there is one thing that has been abused for decades (at least 26 years) is the return policy at target. If it isnt figure swapping its stealing pieces inside the packages. Its disgusting really and it is just incredible that almost 30 years later Target still hasn't figured this out to be a problem that needs fixing. It's one of the few things target does wrong in a long list of things they do really well. They should just do no returns on collectible items. Half of their work at the customer service desk is resellers returning figures that don't sell or the latter. Target wastes so much time catering to this minority of people. Just change your return policy and the game is up.

The only time I'd be mad is if I found a chase in the wild and accidentally got sent the same thing in a preorder. I had that happen with Shamrock but I was able to just return the other one. I just got confirmation that Ali is shipping, so I guess they are gonna get these out early?

That will give those customer service desk people more vacation days. They will only need to help the baby registry and return/regret gift holiday/birthday people and the occassional person buying electronics with the warranty (that most of us dont get especially on ebay)
