Simple enough question. What year has been your favorite in the companies history and why?

1998. I just loved everything about it. WWF was really getting hot, WCW & ECW were also doing their thing.
WWF had Austins crazy run on top, getting crazy crowd reactions weekly, Rock coming up, DX, Taker, Foley,Kane, Vince, HBK etc.
98 will always be the GOAT.

1989
Always thought both WWF and NWA/WCW were on fire that year. Great feuds/storylines to say the least

1989 comes to mind first. 4 really good PPVs with two being in my all-time favorites (Summer Slam 89 and Survivor Series 89). All of the SNME's were good too, with some really great matches. Some really memorable feuds going on that year as well: Hogan/Macho (Mega Powers explode), Hogan/Bossman, Macho/Beefcake, Jake/Andre then Jake/DiBiase, Warrior/Rude, Piper/Rude, Garvin/Hammer, Chico/Model, Bret/Perfect, Rockers/Brain Busters, Demolition/Twin Towers, and Demolition/Brain Busters.
I still like 1990-1992, great years with a lot of talent. Late 1997 to late 1998 was really good too.

WWF would between 97,98 and 2000.
WCW probably early 90's and 96/97.

This is so hard to pick!
I would say that 1991 is probably my most nostalgic year, I love all four PPV events from that year and I was super active with my Hasbros, I had been a fan for a couple of years by now and my fandom really kicked into high gear here.
1996 strange one I know, but hear me out. By 1995, I had four good friends in high school and we were all into wrestling. We were huge wrestling nerds in 96-97 and it made up a huge part of the stuff we talked about. People love to hate on the New Generation, but I loved being a fan during this time and while the gimmicks and some of the stories may not have been great, the in ring talent was stacked.
1998 also has to get a mention, the apex of the rise of Stone Cold, The Rock, the new DX and Austin vs McMahon.
If I had to flat out pick one year of wrestling to watch from January to February..... I think I would go with 1991.

They had a lot of young talent mixed in with veterans and legends. Good times. WCW got stale for the next year +, but some stuff was still good in 1995. From the start of the NWO in the summer of 1996 to early 1999, WCW had some good stuff going with 1997 being their best full year. It went downhill fast in 1999. By 2000, it was almost unwatchable.

It is hard to pick just one year. I basically love everything from 1987 to 1992.
