This is a good read, and if it is all true, Samoa Joe is truly an bunghole. pcwaction.blogspot.com/The article is not as long as it appears and it goes by quickly. The one quote that summarizes the article: "Joe actually said to me "if you wanted your guy to look good, then you shouldn't have booked him against me." I didn't make Joe the highest paid guy on the show because I wanted him to make our talent look bad!"

I'm a big Samoa Joe fan but he is an bunghole in this situation. Not wanting to put Omega over because it might hurt his TV image is fine but Joe could of just said that and he also could of went out there and put on a good match instead of half assing it. How does that make one of the best wrestlers in the world look?

Joe said the same thing to my dad when he brought him in. Something along the lines of "Why would you book your champ against a TNA superstar?".
He really came off looking like a dick, and is the exact reason why he has no future bookings in this area any time soon..

What your dad should have done was book Joe and then like AJ Styles or someone. Because then move Joe down the card and put Styles in his place.

IF its true....and thats a big IF.....it is a dick move. It wouldnt really surprise me, as when I met him, he was kind of a dick. Didnt want to talk much and didnt really want to be there for the autograph signing. But I wasnt there.

When I met Joe he was a dick too. I met him at the NWA Legends Fanfest and he seemed liked he was pissed off the whole time he was there. He even left without signing the autographs he was paid to sign. He just left early.

....Hmm... There's alot of unknown in all this, but going on a fact for a fact, this will just make Joe look bad for anyone that approaches TNA. Sure 2CW had Joe come in once, don't know if more than that, but he faced Eddie Edwards. So odds are he knew the quality of the opponent, he didn't put Eddie over but nobody expected that. They had a good match though, but Joe full-time TNA is iffy for independent appearances. I've never got a bad vibe when meeting him, of course in the form of pics and signings. But in ring, well... I've seen Joe go 60 with Danielson, I've been lucky enough to see Joe give a about how he looks. Though odds are he probably truly sees himself as large and in charge of his bookings, great talent, but it's not a great outlook.

Back in April at a JAPW show Joe came out to sign crapand take pictures. After awhile there was still a line but it kept trying to go to the back. I finally got his attention to take a picture and he said ok but I had to make it quick. Then about a half hour later after I left I'm in Denny's and Samoa Joe walks in with Alexa Thatcher. The hostess was ready to sit him next to us but he asked to go on the other side. I don't know if it was because he seen me at wrestling and just didn't want to sit by fans or it was nothing at all but I found it funny. I can't really call him an bunghole for that though because if I was him I probably wouldn't want to sit next to fans either while I was eating, especially someone like Samoa Joe who is seen on TNA TV weekly.

Joe was really nice when I met him, and he was coming back from a match. So who knows.

I was at this on Thursday and must say the match kinda sucked. The last 3 times PCW brought in Joe, he put on great matches. The ending seemed rushed as Joe choked out Omega and it was over very fast. Chris Sabin was great and I knew ahead of time he was going to show up because I am friends with one of thier regular wrestlers. He was supposed to be on a show in June with Petey Williams but had passport problems, but Petey is just as entertaing if not more so.

Back on Topic, That was a hardocre Dick Move, sure the Promoter Respected his Decision not to put over their Main guy but to Kill him in a Half-Assed match is f*cking Ridiculous, Does Joe think he's like Hogan now? Your not even on Angles level so If i was Joe I'd shut my mouth and Do what I was told.

That is funny. To be singled-out and avoided. Wow, that promoter is a bitch Believe it or not, I agree with you. However, your (not yours, but anybodys) actions determine how you're viewed. He publicized his personal view in posting the blog, so obviously he has great reason to feel wronged, or in the very least be dead serious about not doing business with Joe. Defend it how you want, this promoter is lower on the food chain, very much compared to Joe. Still, if it were me in Joe's place, huge name or not. I'd worry about how i'm booked, but not to the extent where I come across as difficult. Which the promoter, even if only those who believe him are naive, makes a great support to that. Would I blog about my run-in? No. Would I book Joe again, if all he sees is a pay-check and can't meet me in the middle on match agreements? No, for sure, because it'd make me look spine-less and incapable of doing my job.

He's trying to prevent other promoters from making the same mistake in booking him if he's just gonna crapon the company.

Yes, maybe so.
But to each their own, I personally find it in bad-taste.
What's to say his words wouldn't have an affect on TNA allowing him to book wrestlers down the road?
As he stated, AJ Styles, Petey Williams, and Chris Sabin have came in and all worked splendidly. But to TNA, this is an ungrateful promoter who 'should feel honored' to be able to book a talent like Samoa Joe.
Trust me, TNA may allow their guys to work indy's, but it's TNA's call where they work. It's also their business on how a guy is utilized although nothing to my knowledge says, "Joe you can't lose, or look weak."
It's a bunch of different things, but like I said in the beginning, a blog when it's a "big name" does more harm than good.
