He's not mentioning the fact that he didn't have enough money to pay Joe, or TNA. ...then what is his reasoning behind the comments to my dad? He already had 1/2 of the money up front, and he got paid the other half before the show started. Don't get me wrong, If he didn't pay him, then I could see why Joe would be angry. When he was here it was already determined that he would go over, but we couldn't have him win the title. We came up with a few finishes to make both look strong in the end. He eventually agreed to one of them (him going over cleanly in a non-title match). But still, for him to be a ass and say "Why would you book your guy against a TNA superstar?" with the guy he was working sitting right next to him left a bad taste in my mouth, and really left me thinking he was a total dick.

Problem #1 I see from what you said is Joe wasn't informed of the finish and match before arriving to the show. Problem #2 I see from what you said is that your "World"(because it probably wasn't defended out of country ever) Title match should always be between local guys, saving the big name for a match with a good wrestler for him to beat. I've been at indy shows with TNA guys on them, including Joe who always help out and work with the guys who are on the card. But the promoter/booker has to use common sense when he's booking shows with TNA wrestlers on them.

I can understand Joe not wanting to lay down for a "lesser name", but as we have seen time & again there is no reason you can't build a guy up before beating him. With rumours that Joe might be leaving TNA when his contract expires he'll need to work on this if it is true as could seriously impact on where he is able to go.

How could we tell him ahead of time about a finish, when we didn't have a cell number or a way to really communicate with him before the show happened? #2.) I never said it was a "World" title. It is the Texas title. It has been the Texas title in the state of Texas for close to 15 years. Smartass.. #3.) Joe wasn't willing to "help out and work with the guys". He barely talked to anyone, and when he did it would be something like him introducing himself to the guys. Nothing more. The when we took him out to eat he wasn't really talking very much and spent most of the time on his cell phone. #4.) IN MY OPINION, he came off as a dick. I don't care how many times you try to stick up for him, it won't change my mind.

#1.) How could we tell him ahead of time about a finish, when we didn't have a cell number or a way to really communicate with him before the show happened? That one is your fault. It's always proper etiquete to inform the big name of the match they'd be having and what the plans for it were. By not doing everything in your power to e-mail Joe, hit him up on myspace, or get his digits, is your fault. ##2.) I never said it was a "World" title. It is the Texas title. It has been the Texas title in the state of Texas for close to 15 years. Smartass.. You've got the smart part right. ##3.) Joe wasn't willing to "help out and work with the guys". He barely talked to anyone, and when he did it would be something like him introducing himself to the guys. Nothing more. The when we took him out to eat he wasn't really talking very much and spent most of the time on his cell phone. If I was Joe I'd be a tad upset too with his treatment. You've got to tell the guy what you're doing with him. ##4.) IN MY OPINION, he came off as a dick. I don't care how many times you try to stick up for him, it won't change my mind. I stick up for people that are right. When you disrespect the man by not telling him the match he's in and the finish ahead of time then that's a problem.

The guy that books TNA talent gave us an e-mail adress to contact him, in which Joe never returned any of our e-mails, to the point we weren't sure he would show up. Thus being why I said "No real way to communicate with him." #2.)How can we tell him, when he doesn't respond to his emails, and I quote "I don't bother checking my myspace, because my inbox is always overflowed to the point I can't really go through everything" I respect the hell out of his in-ring work, and it was honor to meet him. I'm not sure if we just got him on a bad night or something and if this doesnt happen very often, but TO ME like he was acting like a dick, IN MY OPINION. Honestly, you commenting and taking cheap shots on my dads promotion, with no knowledge whatsoever about that night and anything else in the past 15 years that he has been a promoter, you should stay out of it and not criticise how he does things.

You want to keep this going, right? Usually that's how a discussion forum works. #1.) The guy that books TNA talent gave us an e-mail adress to contact him, in which Joe never returned any of our e-mails, to the point we weren't sure he would show up. Thus being why I said "No real way to communicate with him." So, if that's the case you say to the TNA talent coordinator(Bill Banks, I assume) can we have Joe's number to make things right with him before the show. Every promoter I've ever worked with has done that so everyone know's the plan going in. #2.)How can we tell him, when he doesn't respond to his emails, and I quote "I don't bother checking my myspace, because my inbox is always overflowed to the point I can't really go through everything" He certainly checks in with me, so I can't comment on your end. I respect the hell out of his in-ring work, and it was honor to meet him. I'm not sure if we just got him on a bad night or something and if this doesnt happen very often, but TO ME like he was acting like a dick, IN MY OPINION. Who is saying you can't have an opinion. Usually if you're the one typing it, it's your opinion. No need to inform us of it. Honestly, you commenting and taking cheap shots on my dads promotion, with no knowledge whatsoever about that night and anything else in the past 15 years that he has been a promoter, you should stay out of it and not criticise how he does things. There's no harm in me saying it looks like your dad doesn't do his homework. That's my opinion. I can criticize what I want, as long as I make my point reasonable. I work for two local promotions, and do some work for ROH and its wrestlers, I've learned what's right and wrong. Not getting ahold of your talent and informing them of the plans is simply not the way to do business.
