If there are enough of us who buy it for the 360 and have Live, we should definitely start a league. I think it would be a blast with all the created teams.

Gotta agree, it's really fun, I just wish it was an NFL game, and that the presentation was a little less generic.
But still, much better than any Madden game in the past 3 years.

The extra stuff in this game, such as the half-time show, just make me realize how little effort EA has put into the Madden franchises over the past 3 years.

Hell, 2K5 even had a half-time show. EA just scrapes by year after year, doing the bare minimum. They add dumb craplike the vision cone, and hype it like its some great thing. Dont get me wrong though, this game is pretty bare bones as it stands, but its the first one. Even still, it has stuff Madden doesnt that it really should *cough*online leagues*cough*.

Even though it's a very basic presentation it's still awesome to see a halftime and post game show. EA owns the rights to have ESPN presentation in their games, and they don't even use it in Madden. Lazy s. Madden 08.. I'll pass.

I just edited this to the official APF post. There is enough discussion in here not relating to building your team, so I figured what the hell.
Anyways, I just had a great game against the Legends in my season. Both of us were 4-0. The entire game was back and forth. It ended at 38-35 (I won with a last second field goal). I had 250+ passing yards and 150+ rushing yards. It was fun as hell.

Okay, the second I heard Tom Sawyer by Rush kick in on the soundtrack, I knew this will be one of the best football games I've played since Super Tecmo Bowl.
