What in your opinion is the best Indy going right now? I would have to say ROH is probably the best in the world right now, probably period not just indys.

I would have to agree with you. ROH is easily the top company. PWG I feel is a close second.

ROH isn't indy any more. When you've got a PPV deal, you're not an indy..

They still run as an indy promotion. Just because you are on PPV doesn't meen you are huge or anything. Gabe has even said he doesnt want to go huge.

It's very huge but the point is they arent some huge main stream company, and gabe doesnt want to be.

Isn't there like a poll that is asking the same question?
The best right now I would have to say PWG, this past year most of the storylines and such has lacked direction, but 2008 will be huge for them. They have ASW 6 coming up. The card is just insane. Yeah they seem to have everything in order right now.
And PPV is a huge step.

Yes MANY MANY shows I have seen. How do they NOT feel like an indy?? WWE doesnt.

They have obviously smaller crowds than what a WWE would draw. They are obviously wayy smaller in size than a huge worldwide fed. They dont have no pyro or titantrons, they arent ''sports entertainmenet'' that to me makes them an indy. Atleast in my eyes.

Atleast in my eyes. are you intellectually- disabled? because a fed isn't "sports entertainment" they are instantly an independant wrestling fed? Do you even understand what that means? They have contracted wrestlers, PPV, and national DVD distribution. that's not an indy. Plus, they draw 500-1000 people for every show. Again, not indy..

I know that doesnt meen they are an indy to not be sports entertainment. My point is damn near all indys arent sports entertainment.

Hey whatever call ROH an indy or not who cares, the world still thinks of it as an indy anyway. They dont do things to make themselves seem HUGE which is great, they still FEEL like an INDY regardless of the ppv deals etc.

I don't consider you main stream until you have actually rented out an arena, as in WWE and TNA does. ROH is the next TNA. Watch. Yeah, PWG and IWA-MS and probably the best. Tough I looooooove CZW, alot of people dont consider it wrestling. I do though.

IWA MS since not all people consider ROH an Indy. I have CM Punk's FIP DVD and it has a tribute to his IWA MS stuff and it rules.

currently, probably Chikara or PWG ROH is in a totally different catagory than indys OR wwe/tna also, IWA:MS has some good stuff, but it's not as good as Chikara or PWG. of course my not being a huge fan of death matches adds to that, but IWA:MS does have some really good non-deathmatches
