Depends if he does a good job and whatever cash I have on me at the time.
He usually charges £6.50, but gave him £10 a week before Christmas.

Usually I do. Depends on how nice the rack in my face is during the haircut.

No, not really. They want to work as barber, if they want to get more money, so they can go and look better job or better paid

I tip the guy who does my hair, because it took a long ass time to find someone who'd ask me what I want, cut my hair like so, engage in a friendly conversation, and not criticize my choice in hair style.

Seeing as whenever I go to someone else to cut my hair it's a friend, yes.

Nah. And my hairdresser does my hair for £2 each time. That's like between $3-$4. Lol. He's sound. I get him a bottle of whisky at Christmas. I've been going to him for years now.

I only tip if the person cutting my hair actually makes an effort to talk to me (which isn't often).

depends on if they actually know what they are doing. I have yet to go back a second time to the same person since my barber of 18 years retired.

Yep...That's a definate thing to do. And because my hair is longer, I get it washed and conditioned before hand so I tip the person who washes my hair too.
