Yeah. I do. Anywhere from 3-5. Yeah, same here. People who don't leave tips for that or when they go eat somewhere are douchebags. It won't kill you to leave a few extra bucks for the person serving you...

Thats very simple to answer. Min wage here in Tennessee is $5.15/hr. As a server i made $2.13/hr, working at Target i made $9.75, working as a collector i made $8.50. So where as people at Target or the supermarket are making AT LEAST min wage, servers and bartenders dont. Servers live off their tips, NOT their paycheck Well I don't know how things work in Ye Olde Tennessee. But in Ireland, the minimum wage is the minimum wage and everyone who qualifies for the minimum wage gets the minimum wage. Maybe Tennessee should be a little less lenient with the law? Well see thats the difference. Every min wage is different. We have state min wage and federal min wage. I think min wage in new york is like 7-8 dollars. Its all about the cost of living around you

Do you not tip waiters either? I tip the guy who does my hair, because it took a long ass time to find someone who'd ask me what I want, cut my hair like so, engage in a friendly conversation, and not criticize my choice in hair style. Nope, I never did, to be honest, because they either can find better job or better paid as well Rofl. What a piece of shit. My girlfriend has been cutting my hair, so I don't tip/pay her specifically for cutting my hair.

Don't do barbers, not for any other reasons than mine has tits. ;D
I'm not a big tipper, i'm not cheap, but generally my cuts are covered to start with.

Man, Hexus is a cock. And not a little one either, I'm talking stereotypical black man cock.
I always tip whoever cuts my hair, I just sort of assumed it was the sort of in the Geneva Convention of Tipping. Like, one of the "you have to tip this person" rules.
Man, I love the fact that I can't say ass hole as one word, but by god I can say cock. I guess technicalities of the English language work in my advantage again!

Seeing the entire thread, I think the next time Hexus gets a meal, people should have some thing waiting for him. As for haircuts, accidents happen, Shaun/Sean. (if that's even your real name)

A lot of people don't realize that the business has to make up this difference and they get shafted like they should be for being idiots and not knowing labor laws.

Yeah, because I know the guy who cuts my hair. However, I haven't had a haircut since october, so I'm saving some big bucks.

I know where I work i make 2.13/hr and claim 10% of my tips to the federal govt. We really do depend on customers tips to survive though. Ive left a 5hr shift with $200...Not many people can say they can work for $40/hr

Yeah, I tip anywhere from $3-$5. It all depends on if I have any $1's on me. If not, it's a $5. Haircuts usually cost me $14, but if I'm especially lazy that day, I'll go to the barber in my town, which is $25, and there I don't tip, but I've only been twice since they've recently opened.
The place I regularly go to that charges $14, they're like family to me because I've been going since I was a kid and they know my family, we share stories, greet each other with hugs, etc. I'd be an a**hole if I didn't tip.
